a buyers guide series would be good. you have so much knowledge of these cars so if you did a video about common faults and things to look out for and what service items might be needed soon based on KMs that would be super helpful. and would get you lots of clicks, people look for that sort of information all the time

Saw this down the waterfront at the revival and walked around it for like 5 minutes. I have a white WH in perfect nic as wel that’s been in my family since new in 01’. I was So excited to see another one and had no idea you were the man behind the wheel 😂. Great vid. Showing the love to an incredibly luxo Barge

I have a wh LS1 Stato and daily it. It's great. Quiet smooth, and torque for daaaays. BIG step up from the HQ I was driving before I got it.

they're such great daily's even in 2024, I had a WH international a few years ago which had that burgundy over silver leather interior. Id say was in even better condition than the example you've shown today which is good to see that they're not dismissed just because its not an SS. I wish I could of driven it from the rear seat because the comfort level is crazy back there.

Remember back in the day that so many Aussie “limo” hire companies would use these. This thing is in ridiculously good shape?! Build quality of these is ahead of what we get nowadays 😢. Good video, subbed. 👍🏻

This one was on Carsales a couple months ago I think. Missed out on one that looked exactly like this with similar ks. Shame as I loved the thing. Would love to own a clean one of these one day!

I’m in love with that car ❤️‍🔥😍 I may get some flack but to me the Statesman’s and Caprices were better then the SS, I’ve tried to buy one many times but their always either mucked around with or a skid pig or want top dollar 🤭

Nice machine, real luxury cars from the day.
I would probably bet that this has some sort of aftermarket exhaust though, if it was a stock one, you wouldn't hear the V8 sound at all.
The stock exhaust was labled the 'vacuum cleaner' exhaust, because that's what it sounded like from behind. 😄
I'm one who would totally believe you when you say it drives like new. That series of car (VT-VX) if they have lowish km's and are not flogged definitely retain that new feel. I've experienced that myself in a couple of these cars.
Keep up the good work. 👏

We used to say Commodores and Statesmans with stock exhaust, V6 or V8s sounded like "Fire Extinguishers" "pssshhh, pssshhh"

I currently own a '17 WN Caprice and I have been on the lookout for one of these WH/WK/WL series cars for a while to add to the stable, however as you pointed out good honest ones in original factory spec are hard to find. They are either ex-fleet vehicles & limos that have very high mileage on them and are completely clapped out, or they have been through the hands of P-Platers & hoons and are lowered with 20" wheels, cheap body kits and loud exhausts & have been thrashed to death. I will continue my search however anyway & hope I will eventually find a nice one like the video car...

Let me take it off road...
(ps. Shed Shirts needs a Ford AU and FG section. just saying...and maybe an area for the BAs)

Lose the hat and you said there is no 'Australian Domestic Market'; any car sold in Australia, manufacturing location aside is 'ADM' you sound like a yank when they refer to a 240 SX or a Honda Civic as an JDM car, they are Japanese Imports but they are still USDM cars.

Made the ford FAILANE look and feel Ike the outdated nugget it was. Stying of a barn shed and 10 years out of date when it left the factory.
