They speak to the children like that as well saying "Hey kids!" and stuff. Like, you really think the animatronics were built to be like children? That wouldn't make sense. The only animatronic I've ever seen act child like is Sun from SB and that makes sense since he is basically meant to entertaining toddlers. Even then they aren't supposed to have the attitude of children, they are just programmed to behave like fun young adults that children can trust.
