Hey @TheRhodes76, the ST was a great little fun car. In my opinion, definitely needed that MP215 upgrade. Made it feel a little more special and sporty. Overall, great performance for a small car and no issues :) I've changed cars a tad since then, with something a bit more grunty these days. An update to come soon 💪
@@TheRhodes76 personally, I preferred the trim level compared to the ST2 but in my honest opinion, be careful with the keyless entry system in these fords.. look at relocating the OBD port and get a steering lock :)
Brilliant video and exactly the kind I was looking for. Got myself a Fiesta ST-3 17 Plate about 5 months ago and loving it. Did you have to inform your Ford dealer before the upgrade? I understand Montune doesn't void the warranty but do we have to do that? By the way exhaust does sound bloody marvelous 😄. Would love your long term views on the performance and mileage. I am also a bit concerned about the brakes. With more power do you think the brakes are still strong enough? Keep up the good work budd 👍😝
Hey, thanks man :) really appreciate your comment! They really are great little cars. If I'm honest, I didn't inform the dealership but it be worth it just for peace of mind. I will attempt to make another video detailing my long-term views. My opinions haven't changed and the car still performs brilliantly. Brakes are definitely still strong enough for general road use. I would highly recommend going for the Mountune upgrades, if you haven't already :)
Great video, I’m an ST owner. Think blue is best 😛 but I also have the mp215. I went for the cat back and it’s well worth it. The brakes I find are really good on the st and don’t need to be upgraded unless you go on the track regularly. The only downside to the fiesta st is the hard ride and the state of the British roads. The st does not like pot holes and I think mine seems to seek them out.
The extra torque potentially improves mpg as you won't need to change down as much. Comparing before/after figures on my ST, I reckon around 2/3mpg. I got the same result with my previous car (Audi TT) which had a similar tuning upgrade. I'm getting around 38mpg from my ST & that includes the occasional 'fun' drive! Hope that helps.
Richard Hannam aww sweet! You are getting more mpg than I am at the moment! I'm seriously considering the map, do love it at the moment when the roads are slightly wet and you plant your foot down in 2nd gear and you don't know if it's going to grip or not haha!
Hi just letting people know I had mountune on my car and I had milltex exhaust and itg induction kit and stage2 Intercooler and when I put it on the dyno it only made 199hp and should be 215 so people think it make 215 but no it’s doesn’t
I do apologise for the terrible audio at some parts of this video guys, I'm still learning how to use a camera LOL
I’ve exactly the same in orange mp 215 with cat back love it to death
How much for the 215 plus the cat back? Great video mate
Hey Dan, thanks for the comment. In all honesty, I can't remember. I think all in, the total cost was around £1,400. Totally worth it in my opinion :)
Hi mate where did you get your reverse sensors installed !?
Great car... I absolutely love mine... got nothing to moan about... good video keep up the good work
Great car indeed! Truly an exceptional little beast. Thanks mate :)
How you finding the st? Any issues? I'm wanting to upgrade from my mk6 to the mk7 with mp215 👍

@@torquetalk1991 thanks for the reply and info buddy, new subscriber so I'll take a look at your vids 👍
@@torquetalk1991 one question, is the ST3 worth the extra over the ST2?

Was there a change in the fuel economy with this re map?
Apologies for the delayed response mate. Not really, still averaging around the 33mpg mark. And let's just say, I don't exactly drive economically :)

Richard Hannam thank you for the reply! Has your st been re mapped?
Yes mate. It has the Mountune 215, plus cat back, high flow induction & quick shift.

Each Dyno is different, MOUNTUNE's Dyno clocked at around 212hp. That's of course having the right fuel (octane level) recommended by MOUNTUNE.
Thks.
Upgraded recirculating valve ? I didn't get one with my mp215 kit
You should have mate, double check your paperwork :)
I wouldn't worry about it now anyway buddy as I got a upgraded gfb one myself
Nice!
Watching the video I suddenly realised I took this car out for a test drive recently
