nobody appreciates the maps they make enough. bought one yesterday and didn’t even finish it because I was stunned
i really wish streamers appreciated the maps more. quality and responsiveness of MCC puts any other minecraft tournament to shame

the poll update is seriously an ingenious solution. allow me to explain why:
so, before it was all one sided mostly as dream and techno who had the most clout would decide which game was picked. but now, if they want a game to be picked, they will say to their audience to vote for any game but that, resulting in an almost three-way split of the effective twitter clout. so any other player that has even a THIRD of their clout can ask their followers to vote on thay single one, thus single-handedly turning the entire poll result. mix this with 38 more randomness and we get a poll result which is not decided by a single person. BRILLIANT!
I've advocated this idea for the longest period of time, I'm so happy right now!
I mean Techno and Dream could still rule the board. If they team up they could make two games get the two highest votes.

@@iridescent_skies That's exactly what he did. He had people whose names started with A-J vote for Sands of Time, and everyone else vote for Bingo. Tommy and Dream both had their viewers vote for Build Mart, so the votes were spread out between the three.

@@skelet8337 yeah, but that just means that whatever game they say will just not be played for sure, and it leaves many options for what game will ACTUALLY be played. So even if their influence can still do a lot of damage, it’s less damage than before

An interesting way they could make Parkour Warrior harder for Dream is by removing the checkpoints on the final level. Considering Dream was the only one who made it beyond the first checkpoint of Stage 8, it would make it harder for Dream to reach the end without making it too hard for the other players who don't ever get that far.

I was rewatching MCM 10 and all I can think about is how much better MCC is.
I’ll always appreciate Minecraft Monday for what it did for the community and laying the foundation for other MC events but the quality of the event was quite lacking, and it’s even more evident now that Minecraft Championships has blessed us with ~standards~.
- in MCM, players didn’t know if there was going to be a grace period or not (it changed every week with no communication). In MCC, there’s an update video for every event, as well as explanations of how every game works in the chat during the tournament.
- MCM had varying amounts of players (from 24 to 12 teams of two) consisting more of fortnite streamers than minecrafters in the later weeks, likely because Keem kicking some creators and others not wanting to be involved with him. MCC has always had forty players (even when they were struggling to fill the roster in the first season or two) and have always been almost entirely minecraft creators, all of which on good terms with the MCC team.
- MCM had little to no budget to pay their devs and it shows, they had barely anyone working on it and thus had a lot of directly copied maps and games, not to mention the glitches. MCC, on the other hand, had a passionate team behind it who are constantly doing their best and looking to improve, listening to the creators and the community for feedback.
Long story short, thank you Noxcrew and the rest of the MCC team!! You’re doing great and we love and appreciate you!!!
