I think Dan Marino missed the playoffs 5 years in row from 86- 90
Proof that football is the ultimate team sport, the media needs to stop putting everything on the QB, a great QB is only as good as his defense
4 years in a row not 5, they went 12-4 in 1990 and the bills were a dynasty that went 13-3. This dolphins teams during those 4 years were easily one of if not the worst team in the league and Marino still dragged them an average record. I started watching this show during last year's NFL season and loved it. Nick Wright's analysis was usually the most accurate, and I was amazed how often he said what I was thinking.
Nick's success last year went to his head, because he's becoming annoying. Now he corrects his co-hosts at every opportunity, and his allegiance to the Chiefs has distorted his perspective.
Yes, Patrick Mahomes is awesome; he's easily one of the top quarterbacks I've ever seen, in the class of Brady, Montana, Elway, Manning and Marino. But there's 2 current quarterbacks in the league that share Mahomes class in terms of abilities and potential, though they haven't achieved Mahomes success: Josh Allen and Joe Burrow. It's not ridiculous to compare these 2 to Mahomes because they have just as much potential as Mahomes.
Nick's constant denigrating of Josh Allen can only mean one thing:
Nick's afraid of Allen reaching Mahomes level of achievement.
I hope Nick can self analyze because he's not nearly as accurate as he was last season, and that makes him less watchable.

Another thing all 3 of those Tua games had in common were that they were away games. So Miami being AT Arrowhead is a factor.
that’s a good first analogy from nick about super bowl appearance and how it would effect josh allen’s legacy.

Bills and Allen live rent free in Nick’s head.
This is what Cam was talking about. Josh is not surrounded by an All Pro Forcefield of teammates and still has a chance at the Championship.
I’d love for Lamar to win it this year, Josh Allen next year, and then Purdy after that. Nick lose his mind 🤡🤡
What Nick Wrrong has always failed to see is that the reason that the Bills have such high odds all the time is that America LOVES Josh Allen. They may admire Mahomes, Hurts, and Lamar, but they do not adore them the way that they do Josh. His story, his play, his heart, and his personality all add to any achievements that he has on the field. He is compared to John Elway and Brett Favre because he is not careful with the football, he is not a game manager, he is not even always trustworthy. But Josh Allen is the biggest gunslinger, the hardest runner, the shiftiest qb, the most exciting player in the game. He is not Peyton Manning or Tom Brady, he is Captain America. On the field, off the field, at all times he is humble, hard working, unstoppable, and very, very admirable. He is a first ballot Hall of Famer, he is the face of the NFL, he is a superstar. People want him to win, so they bet his team to win, and that is why the odds on the Bills are always so high. Nick Wrrong may never catch on, but the rest of America has. Since his first hurdle Josh Allen has won the hearts of America and the rest of the football world.
That’s right. Allen is very charismatic and classy. He handles himself extremely well in public. This will always be a huge boost in player popularity.
Mahomes to me, feels like he’s kind of immature and maybe not always a pleasant person, and some of the closest people in his life give off those unpleasant vibes as well.
I disagree. America and the analysts hate Allen because he's so inconsistent. Awesome at times, but inconsistent.
Those Broncos teams that Elway took to the Super Bowl in the 1980s were completely outmatched by the 49ers talent wise. Elway was the main reason that Broncos even got to the Super Bowl those years. o

Because Miami can’t beat good teams on the road especially in the playoffs the raiders is a division opponent who matchup to them they will win against the chiefs every once in a while
I wish there was 1 person on this show to counter Nick equally. Wildes is legit, but Brou just isn't him.
The Bills run to avoid variance. They have a really good QB to do so, so it works great vs teams inferior to them.
It seems to also work against teams everyone thinks is better than them. Their avg PPG vs those "teams" is 30. what are they like 4-1/5-1 vs "those" teams...... "lost 5 controversial games".... Buffalo literally STOPPED scoring on purpose in the first game vs the Dolphins
The bills record reflects the exact opposite of your conclusion😂 They lost to the jets, pats and broncos. Barely beat the chargers and the giants.
These takes are so funny on Monday mornings.😂
Bru and Wildes looking at Wright like: we still talking about the Bills?
Can we get a Bills homer to counteract Nick’s commentary on Bills segments please. Dude never gives the Bills an ounce of credit unless it’s a sarcastic banner 😂
It’s a real problem for this show. Both Nick and Brou are Mahomboys so their analysis is always poisoned with bias.
I'm not gonna lie, ...if Kevin Wildes was not on the show, I probably wouldn't make it more than a minute in before losing interest. Some bias toward your favorite team is one thing, ...but the Bills/Allen disrespect gets off the charts at times, even when Nick has a few valid points. The banner drops are hilarious though, I will definitely give Nick some props there, for sure...
It's funny how certain qbs dont get blamed when their team does bad but when someone like Josh Allen has great numbers it's always him when they lose when are we going to start talking about Buffalo's coach
When talking about stars the only star qb that doesn't get murdered is Patrick which he has earned with 2 super bowls.
Not true, people absolutely blame him for the Jets loss
What you guys are forgetting is that in December and January the weather in Buffalo is awful can't imagine anybody slinging the ball around and having great stats in that stuff.

The bills were 1 defensive play away from winning 4 of the games they lost, and had the most injured defense in the league.....
The Bills won 2 games that they should've lost. Toney on the Chiefs went offside and the Giants 2nd quarter mishap right before halftime (in the redzone and ran out of time). Godwin also didn't turn around for Baker Mayfield's hail mary.

@abc-ob3eu I hear that. You could say these things about every team. My point is, allen gets all the blame for their losses. @@pfpchad2747 I know, but Brou has his days, too, and there have been comments about it.
I love how Nick is so against the Allen-Favre comparison but it is the one that makes the most sense. Favre had supreme confidence in his ability to throw the ball anywhere on the field. Allen has the same confidence in his arm. And, in both cases, that confidence can lead to spectacular wins and extremely disappointing losses. I would also like to remind Nick (and Skip Bayless as well) every time the defend Favre and his playing ability that he is the career-leader in interceptions by like 50 for a reason.
Nick predicted Chiefs would go undefeated (currently 10-6) and his "Nick's Picks" record is 24-30 this year. So, forgive me if I don't trust his judgement when he says Miami has NO chance to beat the Chiefs in Arrowhead. Should Chiefs be favored, yeah, they're the home team. If the Bills miss the playoffs it will be because:
1. They had 12 men on the field for a FG that Denver missed. After the penalty, Denver made the re-kick.
2. Gabe Davis ran the wrong way on a route in Philly. Then when the defense was on the field, they made a horrible play call that allowed the Eagles to score a TD.
3. After Allen got the lead with less than 3 minutes to play, the defense could not stop the Patriots.
Why is that an indictment of Allen? They had all 3 of those games won till the defense blew it.
And they had the most injured defense in the entire league! Same with the philly game! With a healthy d this team is probablly 13-3 at worst right now....
Nah really it will be because they’re in a tougher division than the Chiefs and the NFL’s playoff system is silly. Both teams are 10-6
Agreed with the exception I think Allen made the wrong read on the OT throw. Davis beat the DB off the line with outside leverage which on a post/corner option would indicate a corner route. But either way it maybe was a matter of they both made different reads, not necessarily one was wrong.
@@coleg7876 It was definitely a miscommunication. Josh saw zero blitz and no safety coverage over the middle, so Davis was "supposed" to take the open middle field (which is why Josh laid it out there), ...but Gabe also had the option to run a corner/post, and his release gave him that leverage. I think Josh missed seeing Gabe's outside move, and threw it to where he figured Gabe "should" be. Option routes can be tricky, especially when the other team brings the house on an all-out blitz... Really just an unfortunate result at the end of the day. The Eagles did not deserve that win, imho, ...save for Jake Elliot's tremendous boot from 59 yards out in some of the worst kicking conditions I've seen this year. Always liked Elliot, dude is solid as they come at placekicker... I love TBass, but I would dump him for Elliot in a quick second. Sorry TBass, nothing personal!!! Lol

Does Nick Wright ever get tired of hating on Josh Allen
Tua is so clutch, up 7 to start the half. A chance to win the conference since 2008, clinch the #2 seed, and to quiet the people that say they can't win games that count. Dude went and balled, went 5 for 8 dinking and dunking the entire field for 27 yards in the half.
Running more often, takes loads of attention and therefore pressure off of Josh. He can just execute in his comfort zone, rather than pushing dangerous throws because there is no other way.
Nick has it wrong again… the scheme isn’t to be “ground and pound”… it is to open up the offense to let him play with more ease.

And Patrick's good but let's face it he started on a team that's already established
I agree that it was already established but that also comes in the context that the already established team hadn't won a playoff game since an aging Joe Montana was their QB.
I remember them beating Andrew Luck and the Colts like it was yesterday because..... I had never seen it happen live.
The Chiefs were ONLY established on the offense. The defense was awful and ranked 27th in the league.

I'm a Chiefs fan, but come on Nick, Chiefs could lost to anyone. They are unbalanced, unpredictable, and capable of really poor play every much as is Miami. That would be a tough game.

There’s probably alot more. He can’t find actual football topics to talk about, he has to talk vibes not even from this weeks news but from next weeks maybe news
He’s trying to speak things into existence that he wants to happen as a cheifs fan. It’s as simple as that, he’s not doing sport analysis he’s speaking as an emotional fan
I’m not a Bills fan by any stretch but oh boy, would a Buffalo Super Bowl win make this show the most entertaining sports show ever if that happened. Wildes and Brou would never let Nick forget it
The mafia stands with Josh Allen.
It doesn't matter when it happens as long as it happens. We are in good hands over here😂
Nick is in his own world but that is where you'd have to be when you think you are right about everything. Amazing this guy is on tv, actually, it's not that surprising considering people watch his drivel just to see him squirm.
Nick hates Josh. Nick still has the Bills missing the playoffs! Can't wait to hear how he moves the hate goal post!
Mahomes has 27 passing tds with 14 ints, no rushing tds, 27 total tds with 17 total turnovers and a 10-6 record
Josh has 27 passing tds with 16 ints, 15 rushing tds, 42 total tds with 19 total turnovers and a 10-6 record
Same record, same amount of passing tds, only 2 more turnovers for Josh, and Josh has almost double the total tds than Mahomes...but Josh is playing bad and Mahomes is playing great 🤷🏾♂️
Nick just doesn't get why Josh Allen is talked about so much. The guy is a super talented player who is very fun to watch. Instead of appreciating his entertainment value he gets bitter about the attention the media gives him. Hope he gets a ring soon so Nick can shut up about him already and move on to something else.
Nick can't stand nobody's talking about the Chiefs
I agree with Nick for once about Josh. This season is do or die for Josh as far as the SB window being open. Must win in Miami for the Bills.
GO BILLS
Nick is becoming the Jim Cramer of football.
Just remember, Dak Prescott and Tony Romo has never led their teams to a conference title game. If Josh Allen would've played for Dallas, he would've been labeled as a future hall of famer.
Interesting thought. What if the dolphins decided to move on from Tua, then subsequently traded for Fields? It would extend the rookie QB contract window, with a QB that's likely better, and more talented than any QB they could be in position to pick in the coming draft. Freeing up their other picks for other needs.
Well, the Dolphins are not getting a QB in this draft no matter what ... or at least not getting one better than Tua. As for Fields ... you would only open the rookie-contract window by one year. On top of that, he has done nothing to show he is a better QB than Tua. With all of that in mind, I don't think this trade scenario works for Miami.
@@matthewdigiacomo2580 hard to say what any of these rookie QBs could develop into. If anyone couldn't, players like Brady, Purdy, Prescott, Lamar etc. would have gone much higher. Fields has never had anything close to the advantageous situation that Miami is, currently. If they pick up Fields 5th year, it would extend the window by, 2 years. 3, if they franchise tag him. He is definitely more talented than any QB Miami would be in position to pick right now.
Can we get a new segment on the show by Brou? The segment would be called Tomato Cans Vs Breakdancers. In this segment, Brou would choose two teams and one of each would fall into the two different categories and then improvise the rest from there. This would be a view maker.
It should only affect Josh Allen if he has a bad game. Football is not as simple as saying if he loses he’s bad.
Nick rides mahommes' nuts and never points out how bad their division is but quickly points out two bad teams in the afc east.
Think about this ... Buffalo was 4 defensive plays away from being 14-2 and having the 1 seed locked up.... And they had the most injured defense in the entire league by far (by salary cap on ir)..... Not an exuse just puts things in a different light. Gotta love the nfl. Now they have to deliver on Sunday ... Should be interesting.
good point..they naver should have lost jets NY game
@@brentinnes5151 true, but they were healthy then, just boneheaded plays....
do bills have health problems now?@@donkeybus
And the same could be said for so many of their victories. Their record reflects them accurately if not a little favorably
Every team has those games.
I think Dolphins would have a fair chance at Arrowhead. I mean, Raiders won there lol
Feels a bit harsh to criticise Allen for winning 10 games and missing the playoffs just because he has another great team in his division
There's a lot of excuses being made for Josh Allen over here.
*"STOP COMPARING Josh Allen TO JOHN ELWAY!"*
People get too caught up in how Nick says stuff instead of what he’s saying. His points on Allen have been right. No one thinks he’s a bum, but he’s treated like he’s Mahomes. People were legit having arguments that Allen is better than Lamar and that’s Lamar with one, soon to be two MVPs. Why can’t we just say with Josh he’s good but let’s wait and see if he can be great
Hes already been great. Far better than lamar in the playoffs for example.
Dude you are an idiot. He is great. He keeps breaking held by hall of famers.
Most TD’s through first 6 years in history! If that is not a prognosis of something who is destined to be one of the greats, I don’t know what is.
Wilders must have sprinters straddling that chiefs dolphins fence.
If Cowturd & Skip Biased had a baby it would be Nick Wrong. An irrational dislike of a quarterback and unconditional love of a mediocre team would be the defining characteristics.
Nick can’t see a player comp between the two ? lol championships aside. They are similar players. Skill wise.
Dolphins will smoke the chiefs in the playoffs, and Nick knows it, but wont admit his fear of tyreek n that offense
Nah
Bills could be very dangerous going forward...How about Bills v Dallas or Bills v Detroit?
I got Bills/Lions Superbowl. 38-31 Buffalo
Who is going to tell Nick to stop slapping the table on every intro? lolol
