As a Sgrean it is really hard to find "lazy" Malaysian working 3D job in SG. Think about it no "lazy" people will spend all the effort cross the custom everyday to SG just to work and for those who don't have to they need to work extra hard with OT etc to make up for the increasing rent in SG.
Honestly it's not that you can't find lazy people doing 3D jobs. It's just that they are too easily replaced if ones lazy. 3D jobs require little education hence there is always people waiting to fill your position. Lazy = game over
As a Malaysian, everyone's idea of earning more money will have "working in SG" in their mind. It's because local job opportunities here are really underpaid, especially 3D jobs, like bus drivers, FnB, retail and so on. Can you live with RM1.5k to RM2k salary in KL? Possible but you have to be very frugal, our cost of living is also getting higher, especially if you work in the city center. Thats why the topic of "foreigners taking our jobs" is also in Malaysia as we have a lot people from Myanmar, Bangladesh, Pakistan coming here to do our 3D jobs. I agree with the Social Economic Status since friends and family will always bolster they work in SG, and sometimes we might not ask what they do since we are already "wow" by the fact that they are working in a foreign country. Anyways, excellent insight!
