@@hashimrahman51 i remember the t maxx coming out as a kid and back then that was the god of rc cars now next to a xmaxx it looks almost pathetic, its madness the way the standard now is 1/5 scale and not really 1/10th anymore these things are monsters!
I assume it had to do with the availability and power of Lithium batteries? New to RC.

Left RC 15years ago and picked up a Losi Baja Rey 1/10 raptor. and was so stoked with brushless power and just beat that truck to heck. Bought a Mojave and I'm just shocked!😱💪💥 So much fun😂

I was way into these 2004-2010. Losi LST, Traxxas t maxx and REVO, HPI Savage… i see they’re still money pits, glad there is plenty of HD content out there to get my fix. Don’t think I could bring myself to do it again!

I would say Xmaxx, its going to need some minor upgrades out of the box to handle some big bashes but to me its more durable than the K8s

So far I broke and had to change the rear hubs to RPM oversized hubs, Traxxas HD arms and a new servo and now I haven't broken anything for awhile, but honestly I would only upgrade after something breaks, if it works it works and no need to change it 😁
doesn't it break your pins in the half shafts? because I have a problem and every ride I change the pins maybe you have any advice what to use now I tried the drill but it also broke off

I know a screen changes the scale of things and these are massive trucks, but that kraton actually looks extreme in size and weight. It even makes a deep sound.

Xmaxx is more tougher and takes alot more abuse than the Kraton. Kraton is a heavy truck and will break arms if you land bad. But I love driving the Kraton and how easy it drives and jumps.

I run 1/16th e-revo. I was looking for more,,, in that truck. Seems more like road track truck it prefers like more of a “racing ability’s” feeling. The new traxxas is right about “there” for me,and my dirt around here. Big “BUT umm,,, uh? Gees I’m going to need a loan. Great video fun stuff

I have a ramp very similar to that one, a little shorter. It seems big until you try to hit it full speed. I have a 1/8th Krayton, can't imagine trying to hit it with those big trucks! 😨

Good stuff! Swear I always see the Kraton 8s EXB breaking arms. Its gotta be the overall weight of it thats causing the arms to break. That Xmaxx is just a beastly beast plain and simple lol.

i jump the balls off my kraton 8s exb 20’+ jumps i haven’t broken an arm yet... the xmaxx i had on the other hand was like a piece of glass i barely jumped that thing and it would break parts i sold it

I see you using orginal traxxas tires, how do you not rip them apart? Mine got ripped apart like right after i got it. Have you glued the vent holes in the rim?😁
I've had a few of them rip 😁 They just seem to be the best for overall bashing, I have not glued the vent holes yet but probably will once we start getting rain 😀

Hey my friend great bash session, question I just got the XMAXX those orange A Arms on the X MAXX are they the same as the wide maxx a arms because from the video it doesn't look wider like the maxx does. Because the kraton doesn't roll over at all as the X MAXX does all the time because of the short

I personally like the xmaxx just because it can take a bit more of a beating. Sand is fine, your bearings will just need some cleaning or replacement.

I have the Kraton 8s and the Outcast 8s. Both are absolutely beasts, but between the two, the Outcast is my favorite. It's more durable than the Kraton esp the shock arms. I've broken shock arms twice on the Kraton which seems to be a problem for everyone.
Yup that seems to be the problem for everyone I've seen, its a heavy truck and the arms cant handle it

I’m currently trying to decide between these two. If you could only have one, which would you choose?
Thats a hard question, I love the Kraton on how it looks and drives. The Kraton just sends it and rips but because its so heavy you have to land right or your breaking parts. Love the Kraton but If I had to pick one it would be the Xmaxx. With the current setup the Xmaxx is a true all around basher and just a blast to drive.

I've been thinking about getting an xmaxx. They seem to break a lot. Are repairs easy? Expensive? Seems like they're little money pits.
Its a great truck after some upgrades. It can be a little expensive but easy truck to work on. So far I have Heavy duty arms, RPM rear hubs and bearings, New servo and it hasn't broke in awhile
For traxxas it’s the parts that break for arrma it’s the frame that breaks so if u use them smartly they will last for a long time both amazing trucks

I have giant electronics and gears on both the XMAXX and the EXB K8S. My biggest issue so far with my EXB K8S is the driveshafts bending or the pin breaking. Everything else has been going well for my 20ft plus jumps. Oh yeah, the aluminum housing for the diffs (the ones holding the gears) are a must upgrade. They split and damage your gears. The Xmaxx is tough too, but I also bend driveshafts and have bent even shock shafts on bad landings. Bash on! I get double backflips easily with my giant rigs. With that huge ramp, I could probably get triple backflips 🤣🤣🤣👍👍👍

@@FivoNine ok sounds good when are u going to do a race track again it looks fun I have a traxxas slash 4x4 1/16 scale and new tires it's fast and durable and easy to fix but plastic body is still good I had to cut the back body cover by the tires and im going to make a homemade exhaust for u and see what u think it gives it a small tune on it too

Ah man! I get breaking stuff is the inevitable goal of bashing, but then your day's over! Lol I just got my first RC (Rustler 4x4) and I put it through some shit but I still baby it relative to some videos I see on here, I don't have the skills yet to even know what parts to order let alone how to fix it haha. Plus if it breaks then the next time I can do some RC'ing, I gotta sit inside fixing it instead
