- John DiMaggio and Tom Kenny are two incredible voice actors, each the voices of many beloved characters, such as Bender (Futurama) and Spongebob Squarepants. Today, they're talking about their experiences working as Jake the Dog and Ice King on Adventure Time, a show that has become increasingly less simple and childlike. What is it like for Jake to know his children don't need him, as he ages? And how do we feel about villainous Ice King being revealed to have forgotten his previous life as a selfless caretaker? John and Tom talk to Kim Horcher at San-Deigo Comic-Con.

Take note that both DiMaggio and Kenny starred together in the SpongeBob episode "BlackJack" where DiMaggio was the voice of SpongeBob's cousin Blackjack.
Is this that one episode where spongebob used spike shoes to get to his house but then it got to blackjack’s eyes which may have scarred my childhood?

Ice King's character has alot of depth to it. Jake does too but I think Ice King is underrated. And shout out Tom Kenny😍 he's voiced HUNDREDS of characters!!! Such a talented man! ( not trying to leave out John Dimaggio, he's very talented as well)

I love how they talk about how great it is that the story has more depth than the average kids show yet Cartoon Network routinely cancels shows with story elements and pampers shows that are stagnant in their formula and approach. Nothing to do with them but it's sad really...
