Thx for this vid, If I hadn’t known this, I could’ve been scammed badly! So I was trading my giraffe, and this dude offered a shadow and a bunch of other things. I was obviously very surprised because the offer (in my opinion) was rlly good (and they were overpaying). So they told me in the chat that they’ll accept, and I accepted, but they declined because they made up this excuse of their “wifi being laggy”. Well I believed this at first because it could’ve been true, and so they kept telling me to accept and then declining because of “bad wifi.” After a few “laggy” trades, they kept talking to me in the chat, and telling me to friend them because I was “kind”. I didn’t immediately realise I was about to get scammed, and so I went to send them a friend request. When I returned, I already suspected something, and I immediately realised that they had removed the shadow, and I declined. Sooo glad I hadn’t accepted (thanks to this video), because I had gotten scammed my NFR koala this way before!

Thank you so much for this! I had this encounter before and I almost accepted. So basically I had a crow and someone traded me and I put in my crow and they added a shadow dragon. They added some normal pets then they told me to accept and add stuff and blah blah blah. I did those things and while I friended them, they took out the shadow dragon. So I’m glad I declined.

Since I also found it fishy how he was spamming ‘idk friend me’ when I already sent him the request

Sometimes i would get scammed because some old ‘friends’ (online friends that i met because the first one i met told me about them) knew i always checked the other persons items because i told them once about someone trying to scam me but i noticed before it was too late (btw i think that scammer was them on an alt to see if i would be easy to trick someway) and then one by one my friends would trade with me and scam me by distracting me in the chat and changing their offer a bit last minute (i think it was all the same person). Also someone else scammed me like that once

Once I had like two same pets, one was normal and the other one was fly, then I was looking for offers for the fly one but I thought they were under so I decided to look what they offer for the normal one, and then the girl thought I wanted to scam her 😕 and she reported me.

Dont trade your fav pets for something. It might be a scam!
One way to avoid this is looking at the accept button, when someone takes something out or puts something in you have to wait some time to accept

They add a good pet, then when you accept, they wait for like 5 secs, then they remove WHILE accepting... a lot of ppl get scammed because of that. If I would be a scammer, I would always think about “how would it feel to be at the other person’s place?” Just think about it
@isabela That's what happened to me,i wasn't flexing though.So everyone was amazed by my neon rock and there was this one person who started harassing me at first i thought nothing of ir but then whenever the person saw me they would equip their car and run me over.Sadly these are little kids so they won't change their ways until they either grow up or get banned.Also i wasn't showing off my rock i was grinding

Someone did this to me. We had traded before so they knew i was a very slow adder and we agreed that i would trade a helicopter and some out of game (not very rare though) pets for his full grown unicorn (i was trying to make a neon) and i knew he was over but he kept adding so i added a rare pet aswell and while i did that he swapped the full grown unicorn for a dragon. Still a half decent trade but its the fact he swapped it.
I think he wanted to keep the unicorn and give the dragon but didn’t want to scam me too badly.
Hey Guys! I wanna make sure be careful in adopt me.. People can be lying in trade. I was scam for 4 full grown Summer Walrus.. She/he Did this trick to make the Summer Walrus full grown But the were all New Born I trades a lot of my pets with it and I got sad and decided to quit adopt me for a while. But I’m doing must better now🙂. Hopefully you guys be safe out there and make sure they show you if they full grown.

Omg 1 time I was offering for a neon frost and they kept typing like so fast like “can” “you” “add” “please” “promise” “me” “you” “will” “add” “after” “cause” “I” “feel” “over I was like “uhm ok sure” and then when u started adding she switched the neon frost to a normal frost and toys I almost fell for it but thank god didn’t and actually happened to me twice so yeah thx @PandazPlay for sharing this vid to spread awareness never give up stay strong stay safe ilysm!
I know that this video is from 2022 but I think that for these types of things like scams with distracting and changing pets adopt me added that notifications that said; for example: idkhowtonamethis6272 removed kangaroo; idkhowtonamethis6272: added snow owl
Idk just examples. I haven’t suffer any scam yet bc I don’t trade that much, just trying to grind and get something better to trade for my last turtle to make neon.

I’ve seen another scam going around recently ( it’s kinda stupid ) basically they just add 9 common things and then say that “ I’ll add ur dp/high demand pet after we do this trade” if u accept they’ll leave and leave u with the common things while they scam ur pet.

One person scammed me out of all my good pets using this exact same method, and they did it with a turtle. They even went as far as to hold my pets hostage, promising that they would give my pets back if I gave them the turtle first. But I didn’t because I knew that they might use it to scam someone else. (The bad news is that they probably had more normal turtles to scam with…)

I don't play this game much anymore but thanks for warning us and other people from scammers anyway, some people really need it so you are a big help to them.
this is a story that happened to me once apon a time I fell for the easiest scam you could do (FYI this was when i was younger) it was the "trade me your pet, i'll take care of it and give it back" scam and I traded my neon rat and when they were going to give it back, they just left the game. I was so sad but later I got my first unicorn. (The thing is I had one of the expensive eggs and this girl was in my family we were growing up pets together. She asked what I wanted, I said a unicorn. And then at the campsite I forgot what she got but I got a unicorn.)

I hate scammers. I’m a small UA-camr with like 5 videos and two of them were people who SCAMMED. E! On the Adopt Me description, they say it’s a “family friendly atmosphere”, when in reality, scammers are NOT making it fun!

This happened to some girl in the server. They had my bros dp, a nfr frost dragon. A guy traded her and told her to friend him. I spectated the trade and saw that one of the pets, a mfr crow, had been taken out of the trade and replaced with fr crow. I kept telling the girl to look at the trade chat and she immediately declined. She kept saying tysm to me bc otherwise if she had accepted, she would have gotten scammed.😢
This scam is still going on today so pls do what Faded says and stay safe everyone!! Love y’all always❤

This kinda happened to me once but in royal high,
So I was trading for my dream item (38k) and since I don’t have robux it took me weeks to get and i was really tired and the scammer friended me and kept saying “pls don’t scam me” and I did the trade but I didn’t have the item, or the 38k I looked on my friends catalog and the scammer was there, but I couldn’t join them and I kept refreshing the page but still couldn’t! Don’t know how they did it but-

This once almost happend to me a bunch of times but they always seem to fail because instead of swapping it for the same pet with different rarities it completely switched the pet but i noticed it because they didnt tell me to friend them and i luckly left
This happened to me once! I remember that i had a neon cat or whatever and they said it was their dream pet, they offered me a FR bunny and another bunny with some white pets arround. When i was about to accept i noticed that the FR bunny was missing, i ofc declined right away

Ok so I was trading my chocolate chip bat dragon, then this person traded me, they put in a bunch of stuff I’ll say the good pets bc I forgot which ones the bad ones were. So the good pets were: a fly ride frog (coughs my attention easily) a ride axolotol, and a ride billy goat!
So they told me to friend them (they also started to add random pets like an ostrich and stuff) I couldn’t find them, so they friended me.
They said they had to go for a sec and they said think about it it’s a good trade. So I thought abt it and I asked my friend she said “ITS SO GOOD SHE OVERPAYED SO IT DO IT!” I was not wanting to bc I had it for so long and I got attached to it. But when they came back they added everything, but the thing is I said “wait what about the billy goat” and they said “ oh! Right I forgot” and added a normal instead of a ride. I kinda regret the trade but there’s nothing I can do. Would you say I got scammed?

Once I got scammed.
So basically someone was bullying poor people in adopt me. I know that the poor people were scammers but I didn’t care and we made a big fight. Then she just said: “I’m sorry.. I just want to be cool like you…” I said “everyone is cool in their own way, you just have to find how you’re cool.” Then I THOUGHT we became friends. We went to the nursery and I had some money. She didn’t have enough for the woodland egg so I bought it for her. I friended her then I got kicked from the game and roblox was really laggy for me. I told her “roblox is kinda crashing for me, I’ll see you later! :D” in the roblox chat. Then I left. Next time when I checked she unfriended me and more than half my money was wasted on a scammer. AND THE WORST PART IS I HAD TO WASTE HALF AN HOUR. I WAS ABOUT TO TRADE FOR MY DP BUT I HAD TO DO ALL THAT INSTEAD :C

I wish I watched this earlier- I had a fros dragon, and they added a shadow dragon and did all the things you said. He added a bunch of randoms including two fly ride cerberuses. He distracted me and accidentally traded my frost dragon for two fly ride Cerberuses and randoms.. R.I.P frosty😢

I got hacked yesterday- I had really good pets, like a giraffe, crow, parrot, etc. I dont understand how I did get hacked, I didn’t tell anyone any info for my Roblox account. I was so sad that I lost all of my good pets in Adopt Me.. I worked so hard to get those pets… I just wish I still had my giraffe, that was my favorite pet/dream pet. :((

How it was : they told her to add and add then she didn't notice he changed from neon fr frost dragon to normal fr frost dragon. Thus, she got scammed. Later on she earned it back.
I got scammed like this once and I learned from mistakes and now I’m very careful about what I trade. This guy was giving away bloxburg money for let’s and once I gave them to him he just left. I'm recently working on a mega poodle but I'm a bit lazy so I said abc if u have a full grown or neon poodle, then some girl came up to me and said I have a full grown poodle. I traded her and she put a poodle. However I saw, that its rp name was full grown and its actual age was newborn. But I wanted to waste that scammers time so we stood 30 minutes on that trade with me adding replacing and removing pets lol
And when they finally were so happy to confirm because I put like a unicorn and an ancient dragon there I declined

When I was new to adopt me, I fell for one of those scams.
They added a kitsune or smth and a rat with randoms pets
I put a good pet and they accepted when I did. In second trade it was gone and I realised when I accepted, they left. I think it was a kitsune, bone wings and rat. They removed the kitsune somehow, I was sad but now it's ok I rarely fall for these scams
the whisper scam is the reason why adopt me added a thing to tell us what they removed and added in the trade chat
