After just 3 minutes in: VERY well presented. That 3D anatomy model made things much clearer compared to the previous video on this topic. Subscribed.

Good Morning, I'd like to take a moment to say thank you & I appreciate your professionalism in the way you teach on your video's, I can also appreciate clean no foul language like some others do. Very informative and we'll explained techniques, I believe that somehow I've been blessed with the ability to learn nerve & pressure points, it's almost like I already knew about that spot if you know what I mean. It seems to come natural. But I just wanted to say thank you sir for your training videos and the manner in which they're made, we'll done! May God Bless You, Enjoy your day, I'm a new very grateful fan/student.

I know when I hit my funny bone even lightly my arm is useless for a good minute. Great techniques!

Great points. Not until I started sparring and feeling the energy of my opponent did I fully realize my potential. All the techniques and philosophies in the world are useless if your emotional mind cannot handle the stress of a fight or flight scenario. When the lizard brain takes over, you don't want it to be the first time you experience that rush of adrenaline in a real world scenario. Thanks for the vids

So I was wondering if the crane position in kongfu is a viable form in a fight, and is it affective.or is it a big opening for your enemy.

Anything that works successfully in a fight can be used in a fight. That being said, Core JKD relies on cover, base, and mobility as the foundational basis, a starting point of functionality. In any fight, keeping the head protected, the brain from being rocked inside the skull, is paramount to keeping the rest of the body engaged and functioning. Crane positions, and others, that exhibit less than functional brain protection, end up on the lower probability of methods we would use in a fight for our life. But that doesn't mean someone can't successfully use it to distract or otherwise engage an opponent so that another type of attack can work. It's just that when it comes to your life, you generally want actions that have a higher probability of keeping your head aware, alert, and engaged so that your body can perform at its best.

I got the damaging pain from practice with I foolishly tried getting out of a craddle with a bridge and instead ended up in a back bend.
