That's definitely impressive I have the 590 24 inch and I have baby it on big pines. I don't want to do anything because I still have 4 years left on the warranty. But after seeing your videos holy shit it's a completely different saw!
It'll happen. And it will hit like a freight train when it does. I think at this point, I have over 500 videos. My channel has grown tremendously fast, but yeah, it hasn't hit the level of some of the other big channels. But it will. And when it does...Y'all are gonna see some SERIOUSLY good shit! I mean hell, I'm already doing a chainsaw giveaway every month. Imagine what I'll do when I hit a million subscribers?
I replaced the high speed nozzle on my 600P mostly to fix a air leak problem I was having. Now I can dial it up to the rev limit but I keep it at 12.5k rpm. I did a muffler mod and removed the decomp valve. Runs like a champ!
I'm so much wanting to mod my carb on my 590. I have 2 so might try it on that one and it's pipe modded. Watching as many videos as I can to learn as much as I can hoping I'll get it right. I need a punch though before beginning. I've never worked on one before so this will be my first time. I'll let you know how it goes once I get into it
I know you like your 61. But unless yours has been ported very well...this thing will CRUSH it. There will be a Wack-Off. You'll see. Go back and look at the times of the Wack-Offs that each saw has been in so far. The stock, unbroken-in 590 will beat my very good running 61 by about 5 seconds.
@@frankz1125 yeah the 61's are great saws and make decent torque, but they are still an old design that runs less rpm. I've got a 181, 281 and a mint low hour 288, and as much as I love those old muscle saws, my 2186 Jonsered is newer and higher rpm and cuts faster.
@@frankz1125 you talking about the Holzfforma? I bought one too thinking I'd never find a real one for a decent price, and then I stumbled on this nice 288 for $375! The Holzfforma does run strong!
If you haven't yet, the common practice of putting a o ring under the air filter is a good idea.

Have you modified yours yet?
I don't know how you don't have more subscribers. Have a lot of cool videos up

That thing rips! Has a crack to it!
I had Iowa Performance Saws do a muffler mod and a tune on mine and it opened it up. Made a difference that I can tell
The carb mod worked! I still think you can get more out of it with a little more back pressure. Good work!

Do you know precisely what the rpm limit is on the coil? Is it 13,000? Cause I couldn't get it to go above that at all.
@@novicelumberjack from what I can tell it is 13k. I dialed in the high speed by ear and ended up at 12.5k so that’s where I left it.
I just got one of these saws and definitely doesn't rip like that. Time to start mod'n! Good vid
She’s running sweet now. I don’t have any echos in my lineup…….yet.

Muffler has a nice crackling pop sound 2 it👍🆙BigGuy
Nice miller! Could you do some welding and fabrication videos?
I wouldn’t be surprised if you bought that big forest, just to have the material for your testing 😃🙏
I guess we sorta did. We bought it to enjoy and do things outside. Mission accomplished!
Much better dude. Sounds mo' betta, too.
Dang man, got that 590 ripping!🤘 Them woods look super similar to the woods I tromp around in North Georgia. You from around here?
I live in South Fulton County. You?
Dumb question but where do you get all the black housing pieces for the saw?
Sweet 🤩 great video’s!
Awesome awesome
How much louder is it?
A snortin' saw for sure
Seems like a good fix. I still think my 61 would beat it. I have run a 28" bar on it many times without problems.

@@novicelumberjack I seen it. I don't believe it is ported but it runs very well. I suppose we will never know.

@@alabob20 I have a jonsered 2041. I like saw too. I just picked up a 288 knock off. Seems pretty good so far

After starting to watch this channel I have started sometimes to tuck my shirt on the inside of my pants. Mind you I am 25-years old..
That's hilarious!
