- Опубліковано 7 вер 2022
- Did the pandemic make you Marie Kondo your mates? Is "meme-tagging" the sixth love language? What does the future of friendship look like?
On this hot off the tawa episode, Surbhi is joined by Sumukhi Suresh (actor, comedian, friendship-tease) and Dhruv Sehgal (actor, screenwriter, meme-hoarder). Together they overthink how our friendships changed, fizzled and broke during the pandemic.
Listen in.

Love how Dhruv's always the "little things" Dhruv.
Exactly!!!
Expect for football loyalties
Dhruv needs to start his own podcast, he has such a great point of view.
This was so wholesome. I just came out of the worst friend breakup. this podcast gave me so much hope and warmth.
I feel that. Sending you love!💙
@@shreshtachary thanks 🤍
It can feel like the ground beneath you is crumbling when such a event transpires, especially since there’s a shattering of emotional bonds that were forged under the most pure conditions and sans expectations. I’m glad that you found comfort in this episode, and wish you hold on to hope and receive more warmth.
AAAAAAAA It’s the collision of great minds. The Holy Trifecta of cool people.
Dhruv had some great insights, and it feels like he has a director's perspective on his own life and people around him. He totally needs his own podcast.
We need a seperate episode on bad friendship breakups please. And also how to deal with that shit.
I hear you, Saptaparni. Most of my friendship breakups have felt bad and left me deflated for longer than romantic breakups. This is something that I would really like to overthink more and learn how to deal with.
I am 38 years old. I can relate to everything you talked about because I went through it, the friendship and relationship dilemma. I am keeping relationships and friendships in the same bucket because ultimately they are all same, the human interactions.
Recently, I have come to realize that we are actually genuinely alone and this is something unavoidable. (I still socialize, but I do not get the feel of that real genuine conversation. I just do not).
There are folks who know this truth but still continue to socialize because they need it, due to personality, or for some other reason.
There are folks who know this truth and just go with the flow of the world.
And there are some folks who find a reason for their life and work towards it, everyone they meet on the path is what they call friends.
This episode is tooo good!! I have been following Sumukhi for a long time now so I knew I'd love her before starting the ep but Dhruv's also a delight! Loved his articulation. And thank you Surbhi for overthinking about friendship!
I had this very sad and heartbreaking friendship breakup during the Pandemic. And we tried working things out but I realised we didn't understand each other anymore and it broke my heart cuz I really really liked how that friend got me and I miss her sometimes. It's kinda comforting knowing it happens to everybody and sometimes you just have to accept you're an asshole and other person is also a lil asshole and share a meme with a new person.
Thank you for releasing this.. I have been overthinking about this for so long. It felt good listening
Only half way through and already enjoying the conversation and relating max .😂❤️❤️ Great job with this one Surbhi, keep up the good work☺️☺️
I love this duo ! ❤️ Thanks for bringing them together ! Loved it !
So glad i came across this episode! So so relatable and comforting. Loved the honesty and insights. Still hurting from the friendship losses I've suffered.
Wow this was sooo relatable and good and how you all picked out the little things 😉 and subtleties. Too Good.
Going through slow kill friendship breakup, it's exhausting
This is the most that I've seen Dhruv speaking! And I'm here for it! Love it! ❤️
This one is your bestest pod. Love it sm that i wanna download this.
Dhruv just makes his life in Mumbai sound so cool, like simple yet cool ! Everytime I listen to him, it makes me sad that I am not able to live in Mumbai...
Totally obsessed with this ep😍
I generally listen to true crime podcasts but this is the only exception. I love listening to these episodes while I draw - funny and thought provoking at the same time. Surbhi, you are a genius for starting this podcast!!
Loved this episode. Thanks for this 💖
Podcast which I was more invested and that I can relate to on every level.
Feels like have actual conversation with friends 😊🤗
When going through a breakup and friendship breakups simultaneously this podcast feels like a hug❤🌻
Hang in there buddy , you got this ✨😊 there will be better days 🌻🌺
Ooh, gaaawd I am going through a few rn. I don't know but I feel I am doing okay with losing people I thought were my friends. I lost respect for a friend yesterday only. Hope it gets better and I don't lose any more than I have already lost.
It's the first time I saw your video but this conversation was so cool. Made me send meme to my friends 😂
This was such a wholesome watch. Loved every second of it and just to add a little something that sometimes female male friendship breakup hurts more than one would expect. But rest everything was 🤗.
The thumbnail justifies the conversation! Wow!... Well it really helped me as I'm in my teens..and seeing a bigger spectrum of friends situation happening to you guys .. tell me...this one breakup isn't everything 🙃😂
If you think this is funny, wait till you subscribe! 🦖
Man this podcast is the combination of relatable topics and deep complex stuff that you also think
Such a great conversation ❣️
I have 2 male frnds since childhood... Having male frnds is a relief... And they hv all been there throughout everything.. And yes we never had the urge to brkup 😂 Its just a natural flow of fun, thoughts and emotions without judgement 🥺❤
Surbhi your laugh is so cute and funny.loved the conversation.
I was enjoying the podcast and then while they were talking about friends breaking up, I realised that I think I no longer have any friends left, there are just acquaintances. I had to stop listening to the podcast then
I enjoyed this podcast so much like after komal nd Sejal's podcast i never miss any video of yours surbhi
Ik the intentions are somehow in the right place but somehow I am unable to wrap my head around with being friends with people who have problematic views. Like who am i suppose to confide in when my own friends support the idea of isolating people like me and my community at large. It is easy to romanticise the idea of “we are all human, let me grieve with/for you” but can’t spin the same thought when you are hurting.
Two best people in the podcast today. Both of them my favourite ❤️ awesome paring
Too real. Made my day!
47:46 dhruv from little things entered the chat
I want to know about Sumukhi's 2 public breakups!!!
Such a great conversation!
So insightful n awsm. Relatable.
This episode was like three friends talking something i really wanted to talk and i listening in silence
I don't miss a single podcast/ interview/ episode where Dhruv is in it. This is a treat to every Dhruv's voice fans❤️❤️❤️❤️
One of the best episodes we've released ever! 💖
Credit to the producer.
Favorite people at one place!
🫰
Thanks, Surbhi. For roping in Dhruv!
Take care.
🌸
Loved this conversation
I soooooo needed this! A big shout out to the idea of this podcast where everyone's talking about relationships....friendship remain a vague Grey area where some are treading quite well....
For someone who's abandoned in terms of friendship to all the memories I own....I have found solace in the fact ki people leave naturally and not specifically abandon you!
Ps. I feel abandoned even when my not so close people leave...
Also since it's been too emotional, can we start a fundraiser .....I clearly need therapy🤣
Subscribe to this podcast for more fun videos. It's cheaper than therapy 🪄
loved it to the core
Bro dhruv and the dhruv from little things is the same person i mean he is literally but he didn't act he was just being himself, i hope u'all getting my point 😭💀💀😭

Dhruv was on point about the core of the two gendered relationship!
Intro, my mind is like,
Chocolate na hoti to phir socho kaisa hota
Bournvita na hota to phir doodh ka kya hota
But I’m a Complan girl. 🤫
