I think she didn't mention completely why she wanted Claressa to fight at 147lbs when they were face to face at the Vegas event, but clarified it on her youtube channel. She wants to fight her at the lower wait because of the 8 ounce gloves vs the 10 ounce.

I been hearing Shields talking about Cyborg came after her, but she was actually the one that came after Cyborg. I love both fighters. They're both my favorite fighters in their respective disciplines. But shields didn't have to do that. Cyborg does have really good boxing. She's just very well rounded. I think she might have a chance against Shields. Maybe one day they'll come to some sort of compromise, but Shields won't last in the cage with Cyborg, that's for sure.
