Heads up, you can zoom out in Bird's Eye View by holding the left mouse button, just so you can see a good portion of the map. The courses aren't procedureally generated either, it pulls from a set of pre-made maps but it's random every time what map you'll get.
furthermore, backspin makes the ball jolt forwards when hitting the ceiling and downwards when hitting a wall, while topspin makes it jolt backwards when hitting a ceiling and upwards when hitting a wall. What's topspin and backspin depends on the direction the ball is traveling
Looking forward to watching this. I just started to play and can't get passed the 2nd boss. Hope to learn from you. Not many people have covered this game.
Might pick this game up at some point. The first iteration you played looked hella brutal with the timed Birdie cam and I think you only had a set amount of Ace cards for the entire run (been awhile since that video was made). Having the chance to look around when you want and having a few Ace cards you always have per hole seems to make this game doable. Not easy, heck no! But seems like you have a chance now. Anyway, more please :) Really liking this game.
Really doable. I reached the last "world" (don't know how to call it) in like my 12th round. Sure it's hard, it took s lot of thinking and planning but it's been really fun so far
I love and also hate roguelikes like this. You're not meant to win until you've played enough to unlock all the mechanics. The concept is so good. I kinda wish Roguelike devs would stop putting stuff that literally makes it possible to win behind an intentional loss or multiple.
SPOILERS AHEAD On the second and third world you fight a boss in each which gives one more ability each that'll help you out. You also unlock a single checkpoint you can place after beating the Scotsman I believe. I just beat the entire game on the same run I beat the second and third boss for the third time. Yes, it was pretty hard, I had sweat mode ON

Sorry Reto! I've had a looooong week of working and driving and working and driving. Please keep this up! I LOVE this game!
the spin mechanic is unlocked from the start they just don't tell you lol
Topspin makes balls go forward backspin makes balls go backwards.

Loving this series, it fits me to a tee.
So happy to see another video. I picked up this game after your first video!
This game is rad. Stoked to see what tomorrow has in store (literally and figuratively).

That thread-the-needle shot was inspiring

From what i've seen of other streamers playing this game, you can use Spin immediately even if you havent "learned" it and it works
I like this series!! Keep it up! Amazing work!
It's still hard for me to believe that this game has nothing to do with Nitrome, Chuhai Labs really nailed that specific style.
yeah
Could call it a… hole in one
Very cool game, definitely haven't seen anything quite like it
This game is so weird, but also super cool. I'm not sure yet if I like the roguelike elements, but the gameplay is definitely inspired.
Looking forward to more!

I'm not sure if it says this anywhere, but left click zooms out the camera. also u-turn will go to the mouse if you don't use the keyboard
good to know!
Hopefully, this sand isn't the kind that would annoy a certain Skywalker(if you know, you know).
Love the content keep it up
great vid
With and without topspin is night and day
not to spoil it but the second zone is brutal
Shop not restocking between runs feels weird. There's probably a reason for it though.
I actually think it is a bug, I played today and it restocked
@@Retromation Oh. I see. That makes sense.
nice
Because of this I am going to get golf ads
need more
You thought the first boss is hard? The next ones are a lot worse, stock up those ace cards, you are going to need them.
I keep trying the Scotsman and keep losing
First xx
