3:30 So Reacher just threw a concrete block at the guy, hard enough for it to break, and he gets up from it? That would have caved his freaking skull in!

@@philiproyd6563Logic tells me TV and movies can get away with this because the reason concrete is like it is, is so it dries as quickly as possible So obviously if you poured it to look correct, it would've just been dry or not wet enough for the scene, plus you don't wanna dunk someone in concrete that's actually going to dry. Could they have sprung for some kind of material that would resemble concrete and not act like it? Sure, but it's probably far simpler and cheaper to just use concrete and put too much water in it so it does what you want.
No they poured it five minutes ago and then cleared the site for some bizarre reason. Same bizarre reason you'd lay ten square feet of concrete two inches thick with no rebar on a site that size.
Concrete blocks are not as heavy as you think. Especially not for a trained guy like Reacher. In martial arts, real people destroy such blocks daily in their training. So what do mean, it is unrealistic? The only one being unrealistic is you.
This whole set piece was so poorly done that I stopped watching the series then and there. It was already bad enough from the get go that I was shocked. The dialogue, the dumb banter, between the characters was horrible. After enjoying the first season this one sucked so bad I couldn’t believe it.
So you're one of those film critics who thinks 'bad' movies shouldn't be watched. They're almost all bad. If people didn't like bad movies there wouldn't even be a martial arts genre. Or Horror for that matter.
1. The amount of jump cuts in this season is just ridiculous. 2. Why did they pour a two inch deep plot of concrete five minutes before these dudes arrive then clear out immediately?
Fun but silly action. How many times do they rely on the "bad guys won't use guns"? If I had to go against Reacher (or James Bond), I'm pulling the trigger. But still loved the series.
You'd think hired killers paid for by someone as powerful and rich as the villain would be at least a little incompetent than these fellas eh? Buddy had a gun and didn't shoot the climbing target lol
Wow !!!!! I have to disagree, I thought season 2 was just as good as one. I have enjoyed both one and two and looking forward to season three. Bring it on.
Yeah so first you need to pay more or have adds and then Amazon releases this BS. This season lost all the fun, jokes and happiness, Alan was a little to big and the whole plot was boring and unimaginable unrealistic. Please make season 3 less unnecessary brutal instead make the scenes with brutality way more realistic but spread them out. Not every 5 seconds
Concrete that wet wouldn't be unattended. Still needs hardener and surfacing work done. Plus to make sure idjits don't walk through it. They obviously can't be assed to consult the construction workers who build the sets on shit.
The hope that success would make them likely to risk being more true to the books didn't pan out, instead it gave the "creatives" more leeway to put their "personal stamp" on the show. How you feel about that will depend on your taste I guess. Ok. That's the cheesiest scene of all and I like the show. These writers need to do their jobs and research their material. Concrete isn't fluid after 30mins these days. It ruined the whole scene.

I like the part where Reacher breaks a concrete cinder block over the guys head and he gets up and keeps fighting like nothing happened. 😂
That's because the cinder blocks are not real cinder blocks in Hollywood. Didn't you know?

The two walking together reminds me of Tom Welling and Erica Durance in Smallville.
