A recipe for how to cook David in the apocalypse :) (Also works for Christmas pork fillet and ham :) - Lightly brine and marinate (David) or alternatively your pork fillet or ham a day before. - Scorch the skin in a cross hatch pattern inserting garlic cloves and rosemary, baste in a light coating of Manuka honey to give it some depth of flavour, this will also enhance the crackling. - Take a large roasting tray fill it with an array of your favourite seasonal vegetables. I'd recommend full kipfler potatoes, pre-glazed maple syrup Argentinian carrots (look up recipe for Zanahorias if in doubt) spring onions and fennel. - Place your prepared David/Ham on your seasonal vegetables. Roast for 30 - 35 minutes per kilo. Make sure to baste in between :) Serve with a side of buttery cous cous, harissa and hummus to spice up your apocalypse/Christmas festivities :) P.S. David is a national treasure who must be protected at all costs :) 😍 🤔😋🤣
Okay: what’s the edible cup made of? I was fully expecting the cup would be of a flavor similar to a graham cracker (digestive cracker for the Brits), filled with a bit of chocolate sauce, into which the toasted marshmallows would be placed--to make s’mores!
"That's very Morish".. my grandma would say that! She was a western U.S. woman. But, I am now wondering if she learned it from her "Mamma", her stepmother that was an English seamstress that came into her life at the age of three when her mother died.
I've been experiencing this phenomena where I hear a word I've never heard before, and then I start to hear it everywhere. The first instance of this was on the word "stigma" and the latest is "moreish" . Fatiha eating marshmallows is not what I wanted to see today, but it was worth it for the laughs. There is perhaps a funny side to watching somebody eat themselves to death, I just haven't found it yet.

Ooo, I know that brand of marshmallows, and they're GOOD. And vegetarian. I can eat in one sitting. *Fun fact:* REAL marshmallows are vegetarian, and made from a plant that grows in marshes of the mallow. *Even fun-er fact:* The ones YOU'VE been eating are likely made from gelatinized cow and pig skin and bones. Mmmmmm.
This is the second 'bunker' video on which I've fraudulently clicked 'Like'. I have compromised my integrity for David Mitchell's future... this is a mark of how much I love the man... and we've never even met. This could constitute a form of stalking... the jury's still out on that. It is beginning to look as though the format (and I use the term rather generously in my view) is that invited (or possibly abducted) guests taste some instant soup and guess what it is and then reveal various objects that over-privileged television people erroneously think will be of some conceivable use in a post apocalypse setting. I think we have to accept that those of us who are unable to make and use stone tools are supposed to die. It will be a few millennia before any of the skills and talents that the majority of us have acquired over a lifetime will be of any use in a post apocalypse society. Not sure what DAVE is hoping for here. There are better uses for David Mitchell's talents than as a human spatula for scraping the bottom of this barrel.
@@Peteroranje Yes it is a bit harsh and I would have been gentler (or not commented at all) had it been a video featuring people who were not already successful and experienced comedians. My comments are unlikely to offend any of the performers (or even be read by them). Besides, my criticism is not of the performers featured (for whom I have the utmost admiration) but of the channel DAVE for its apparent lack of format and engaging content. David Mitchell, Phil Wang and Fatiha El-Ghorri do their best with what they've got... which, judging by these trailers, isn't much. These trailers don't tempt me into watching more of the series. I'm usually up for watching anything featuring David Mitchell and will continue to be a fan (but not of this particular show). I want to watch a comedy that is GENERALLY very funny... not just funny "at times". Day-to-day life is funny at times. I expect something a bit more conclusive from a comedy show.
Don't put people on the tv just because they are a certain gender or religion or race or culture or religion. If the objective for these people is to be funny then get funny people based on how funny they are, David isn't as successful as he is because he's white and a man, he's funny because he's good at what he does.

David is ageing gracefully .
He's got tiny kids. Someone has to be their good natured aunts and uncles at some point. He can't rant and rave at the world and himself forever.
I adore David's affectionate, willful indignance at the world in general, particularly when it leads to something funny.
I love how David rejects the marshmallows for its sugary flavor but finds the edible cup delicious, really suits him lol
