Thank you for your very kind words Adam. I have really got to produce a good video now, no pressure! Without spoiling the forthcoming video suffice to say that I don't want to stop driving the Gen 2 and I have only felt that way before with my MK1 Ford Escort RS1600 rally car - a long time ago.
Excellent. I hope you still plan on driving the nice roads out of Wantage, when the weather is better for some new videos. I picked up a Gen 1 Circuit Pack in Sep. Not driven it much but the acceleration from the little engine is very impressive. I fitted a 2014 Yaris rear view mirror and that has helped with front vision, not that you have to worrry about that now with the Gen2 😀 I find the brakes some getting used to, they are strong but my daily car is from VAG group and they seem to like overassisting them so the initial bite is strong with minimal effort. On the GR you need to use your leg muscles! I also just bought a jack and wheel brace from local dealer as i like to have this even with no spare wheel. Enjoy the Gen 2
Thanks Sean. I too have a VAG (Polo GTI Plus) daily driver with excellent and very light brakes so concur with you. Last year I was travelling in my Gen 1 GR at 59.9 MPH on a wet and leafy country road and had to make a real emergency stop. Although requiring a bit of effort they were amazing in stopping the car in time and in a straight line. My Gen 2 has the same brakes but with a lighter pedal pressure - progress. By the way your Gen 1 Yaris is just as much fun to drive as the latest model so enjoy it.yt3.ggpht.com/7tf3A_D48gBg9g2N0Rm6HWs2aqzshHU4CuVubTXVxh1BP7YDBRC6pLBoC-ibvr-zCl_Lgg=w48-h48-c-k-nd
Well done, but in my opinion, the Gen 1 car looks far more aggressive. Yes there's probably some improvement in certain areas, but to me I'd rather keep my Holomogation special, as it will be more sort after in the future.
Congratulations!!! It looks stunning in that colour. Do continue to share your journey with it!
Great hearing from you again. A new video coming in the summer.
Looking forward to your upcoming videos on the Gen 2 and opinion versus Gen 1. Roll on the spring

It looks amazing and my favourite colour. 👍 I would put also an akrapovic on and it would be perfect.
Many thanks for your comments and advice. I will consider replacing the exhaust system.♨

Wow! What a car! Bye!
Thanks!
