I didnt really see these as jealous while watching the drama. I always thought that he was just annoyed with everything Wuxian did because he was loud and clingy towards other people without actually meaning anything by it. But after reading the novel, my god. Drama Wangji had indeed been jealous of anyone who breathed in Wuxian’s proximity. Very jealous.

When I first watched The Untamed, I thought Yibo wasn't portraying Lan Wangji well because he was always scrunching his face while in the novel it describe Wangji as having neutral/expressionless face all the time. Then I realized, almost all the time Yibo (Lan Wangji) scrunching his face is whenever Xiao Zhan (Wei Ying) is *physically close* to Jiang Chen and Nie Huaisang or any other either of the Wen siblings. His face stays neutral (almost soft), during their younger (flashback) days, whenever it's just the two of them.
I cant believe I just realised all these eye gazes, thank you so much for this fanvid, letting us see how amazing Yibo is, without barely moving his facial features, just through his eyes, showing us his love and attention all for WWX and his jealousy (so cute)! I just realised how early Lan Zhan knew and acknowledged his own feelings for WWX, I think from the beginning, after they met, very soon Lan Zhan already had feelings for WWX, hence always liked to stay with him alone and doesnt really care about other characters. But WWX only realised it 16 years later, and long time later I think, as he was oblivious and just thought Lan Zhan was his soulmate, best friend, and also cuz he was very outgoing, but I think he had feelings for Lan Zhan since the start too, as he kept approaching and following Lan Zhan too :)))))
In the novel, LWJ is very possessive. He took Mianmian's pouch she gave to Wei Ying. And I think, he even took the flowers WWX's sister gave him because after the "first kiss" in the forest, it was gone and Wei Ying couldn't find it. 😂

When I first watched The Untamed, I thought Yibo wasn't portraying Lan Wangji well because he was always scrunching his face while in the novel it describe Wangji as having neutral/expressionless face all the time.
Then I realized, almost all the time Yibo (Lan Wangji) scrunching his face is whenever Xiao Zhan (Wei Ying) is *physically close* to Jiang Chen and Nie Huaisang or any other either of the Wen siblings.
His face stays neutral (almost soft), during their younger (flashback) days, whenever it's just the two of them.

I cant believe I just realised all these eye gazes, thank you so much for this fanvid, letting us see how amazing Yibo is, without barely moving his facial features, just through his eyes, showing us his love and attention all for WWX and his jealousy (so cute)! I just realised how early Lan Zhan knew and acknowledged his own feelings for WWX, I think from the beginning, after they met, very soon Lan Zhan already had feelings for WWX, hence always liked to stay with him alone and doesnt really care about other characters. But WWX only realised it 16 years later, and long time later I think, as he was oblivious and just thought Lan Zhan was his soulmate, best friend, and also cuz he was very outgoing, but I think he had feelings for Lan Zhan since the start too, as he kept approaching and following Lan Zhan too :)))))
Supposedly he realized after the golden core incident but didn't think he was good enough/ that it would work out because of his weakness and path

In the novel, LWJ is very possessive. He took Mianmian's pouch she gave to Wei Ying. And I think, he even took the flowers WWX's sister gave him because after the "first kiss" in the forest, it was gone and Wei Ying couldn't find it. 😂

Oh they are flirting...and quite a lot lmao. Some say the censorship ruined it...No..I think it made it more romantic . Also, the ending of drama...so many said OMG they ruined it...Not unless you are blind...Is obvious from the way they interacted and in specially last minutes that is a very very Happy Ending :D :D :D

Poor Lan Wangji who has never before done an unthinking or unintentional thing in his life has no clue how to deal with this.
