Wipeout Soundtrack. Totally.
Shalom wow u can drive that thing insane brilliant
Thank you very much!
This is awesome! That sample length trick is smart, thanks for showing it to us
Thank you! This technique is as old as samplers itself, I'm merely just following the footsteps of many folks before me. I'm glad that you were able to pick it up from my video, though. Hope it inspires your next creative endeavour. :)
At what min is this trick? Sorry, I'm new to all of this and I would like to be able to learn as much as I can!
best bang for buck machine good ish
Yeah, it's a ton of fun. Thanks for watching!
Cool that thing with the sample start was how they did filter squelch back then on Amiga tracker in some games. Found that in the "Alien Breed" soundtrack.
Yeah, it's an amazing little trick that goes a long way. I need to look up the soundtrack, I always find it fascinating how some of the 16-bit soundtracks had clear acid flavors.
Pretty Awesome TRack! Well Done and sounds Great!
Thanks for tuning in!
That's dope! Awesome mix!
Thank you!
Wow, fantastic. I love the Volca Sample 2.

Same sample pack as in the previous video? Seems really versatile, great work putting it together!
@@misanthraaa Yup, exact same one! It was made with versatility in mind, so there's more freedom for self expression. 😊
nice vibe
Thanks!
CONGRATS ;)
Thanks!
Sick
Thanks!
Impressive! :-)
Thank you!
slaps
Thanks!
mindset !
The right one. 👀
So good! Is the 303 modulation only happening from changing start point? Nice little trick
Yup! It's a long sample of a filter sweep. By changing the start position of the sample, it sounds like I'm changing the filter. Thanks for watching!
me playing hotline miami in the matrix
Sounds like a good time!
Awesome how much you can do using only this thing and samples
Thanks! 😊

Thank you!
Limp house.
dude, you'd sell a lot more of the sample packs if you priced them more reasonably? £7? I can get netflix for an entire MONTH for about that!! Come with something like £2 or £3 and I might have pulled the trigger. I'm not saying I'm right, but look into you analytics, change the prices around a bit check the trends. I am sure you's sell more - especially as the views go up if they were more reasonly priced. Just my 2 pence.
First of all, I understand the frustration. That may not be your case, but I lived in a country with a very weak currency most of my life, so everything seemed expensive.
That being said, I disagree with your point. Comparison to Netflix isn't making much sense, since you get a subscription for a month, while you get the sample pack forever. There's also a difference between a massive company and a dude living in a wooden shack in the middle of nowhere. It would be more accurate to compare it to the monthly Patreon subscription (during which you get sample packs + more perks), but that's still very, very different.
I've also looked into what other people in my field are doing, and it's very rare that anything goes below £5 and most of the time it's above £7. I saw ridiculous prices for sample packs as well, and trust me, they're far above what I'm asking. Three, four times as much, which I agree is very excessive.
This sample pack is priced this way, because there are two versions of it. One optimized for Volca Sample 2 (to bypass the ugly downsampling) and one for general use (DAW, other samplers). I could sell them separately, but it'd be unfair for people to pay twice for it, if they wanted to use it in different ways. It took time and effort to compile it in a such a way, so the sounds work well together in the mix, and comparing my price to other packs I saw online - it seems fairly and reasonably priced for the amount of utility you'll get from it.
There will be other sample packs in the future, some bigger, some smaller, some priced higher, some priced lower. I'm sorry that this seems unreasonable to you, but I don't think it's that crazy of a price, compared to other available options.
I get you I do. I dont have loads of money to spare either. I really don't. So when I am weighing up if I want to get the pack - I'm not just thinking of a one off payment. I am thinking of the monthly Patreon. So it is the same as Netflix in that regard.
I'll give you an example. And I can bring receipts if you need me to. I have been subscribed to a patreon of $2 for maybe 3 years. VCV Rack Ideas. He charges me £2 a month. I ave been contributing to his patreon for as I say about 3 years maybe more. But I hardly even even log in and download the patches!! But I still contribute coz I know it cost me very little, helps him and I know I can go in and download the entire catalogue if I need to at any time. I don't even need to keep the subscription. I could pay $2 and download the whole catalog. But I don't. Why? Coz £2 doesn't even register on my bank account. I don't even usually notice it.
So until you have 10k+ subs, my advice is to low ball.
It's just my advice, coming from my experience.
You have great talent, but I honestly think you are over pricing your patreon nat this time.
Try dropping it for 3 months and see if it picks up. If it does then I'm happy you are making more money dude I really am.
I am not trying to get at you, I was just offering advice from someone who has a few smaller patreon subs. And at £2 it's so easy to just click the button. But at £7, I didn't click.
I am not your enemy and I'd love to sicuss it with your privately.
I want you to succeed, coz as I say - you def have talent. But I can't afford £7 right now for a sample drop.
I hope this han't offended you, that's not my intention at all.@@Chaotrick
@zeitgeist909 I thought you've meant the price of the sample pack in the shop. When it comes to subscription, I also did research and people don't offer sample packs for as little as £2. I went to the profile of the creator you've mentioned, and I think their model is a bit different. They kill two birds with one stone, since by making a video, they also make a patch, which later on can be shared. This doesn't require any additional work on their part. Still, they offer a tier with sample packs, which is priced closely to what I'm asking.
I also have a £2 tier, which is meant for general support, granting early access to my upcoming albums and general posts behind the scenes. I've heard that Patreon introduced a bunch of changes lately, so maybe the more expensive tier was the one presented to you when you went to my page, instead of presenting the lower one? I'm not sure how it looks like on the customers end, so I can't say for sure, but I definitely don't start my pricing at £7. :)
That being said, I reconsidered my pricing a little bit, because of your comment. I shifted some benefits a tier down, and removed one which was unpopular (one below the highest). Right now, the £2 tier also will grant access to extended version of my videos (which are still in the works, but should come out soon).
I understand that I'm a small creator, but if anything, over the years I've shown consistency and commitment to UA-cam. Creativity is a big part of my life and I researched a lot of pages, before I decided on pricing. I didn't see sample packs being offered at the lowest tier though, so that's why I'm keeping it in the medium one. There's still a cheap option for general support or shop area, which is a one-time payment for the unrestricted access to the preferred sample pack.
I didn't take any offense to what you've said and I know that you're not trying to be an asshole about it. If you'd wish to email me, you can find it on my channel, in the channel details/info tab. :)
@@zeitgeist909sorry , pero te comprendo y muy buen consejo le das 👌🏻 tiene mucho talento con solo el Volca Sample , suerte y salud a los 2

I understand that you make money by this, but still (at least give a hint), how did you manage to fix "ugly downsampling"? Now I think about solving this problem and would be very grateful for the advice on your part!!
Cool, but to be honest, this is not acid techno.
idk it got a 303 thing goin
Its got that vibe.
To be honest, it may be, it may be not. Techno has hundreds of subgenres, that break into thousands of even smaller niches. It's often impossible to say what something is or isn't, because techno isn't exactly known for having strict, must-follow rules. At least that's how I see it.
