Hi Blakan! Amazing video-thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. I am working on a project with four different computers through Google Drive, but we cannot access the "create new local" link. We think it might be because we haven't created the same directory path on all our computers. So here's the question: does everyone need to have the same directory path on each computer? Thank you :)
What if my team wants to work in realtime on very close resources? E.g., one structural team drawing walls and one electrical team passing wires within those walls all at the same time. Would this method work?
it would be nice if you start showing some tutorials for autodesk collaborate pro because there is no good material about that and it is very important
Excelent, would you be so kind in explaining how to set up Google Drive?, I know for a fact that works flawlessly, but unfortunately I can't set up. Thanks in advance. Greetings.
Hi, great video. Could I ask if we set up the file in google drive, does that mean all members of the group can be on their own separate internet wifi network and can still do work sharing collaboration?
You will run into plenty of sync issues, version differences, and overwriting of work. If you're trying to have more than 1 person working on a single Revit project, it is not recommended to use any cloud storage solution, other than BIM Collaboration Pro (Even this has issues.). It would be better to have an on-prem central model, which requires VPN's if people outside the server building need access. This way, everyone isn't stepping on oneanother's feet.
Hi ! Thanks for the very short and well explained tutorial :), Quick question for you what is the difference between the collaborate tab you used, and the BIM collaborate pro licence Autodesk sells ? Thanks !
Hello Milose, and thank you again, for a great quick tutorial. I have two questions. If you create a central file project, how do you share that file with the other project associates (structural, mechanical, hydraulic. . . engineers)? How do you assign specific person to a workset (ie. Michael is in charge of slabs, Peter is in charge of doors and Gabby is in charge of joinery)? Живели!
guys i have question if im working on a workshared model using mep fabrication parts will my team be able to see my work even if they do not have mep fabrication loaded on their version of Revit?
Dear can you please reduce the price tag of your tutorials that you placed in your patreon website or may be in balkan architect as a student package because its un affordable for the students in our country.

Just be patient like everyone else or simply leave like you planned to. It’s been only 48 hours for crying out loud. Did it ever occur to you that he might be facing some challenges in real life or maybe sth came up. Please drop that entitlement mentality and chill !!

good video! please go deep into the worksets topic it would be very useful
All your tutorials are good, except this one. I missed worksets training at work because I was in the hospital.

Does this work with revit 2023 also how we should setup google drive in order for this to work ? Is it even correct as a methodology.

Great
Should I save the central file in Google Drive and send an address to my colleague? Is this the way to work with it? Because I know little about it.
I really do not think Google Drive is optimised to host Revit work-sharing.
Can anyone shed more light on this?
Is not, i have tried and it gives you so many issues, also you can corrupt your files so easy
@ahmedquadri6959 I don't know

Let it be bro just learn don't ask
He is a working professional, not just a UA-camr so won't be able to reply to every comment
