Very cute, though you will want to move the cot away from the curtains, as a mum of 1 year old twins who love to play with the blinds, I can't recommend it more, and maybe use valcro to stick the changing mat onto the chest of drawers to make sure it doesnt move.
Might want to move the mirror and photo, can imagine little legs might kick them off when nappy is being changed x
Also a diaper genie, or nappy pail. To put dirty diapers in.
Oh yes! Second the velcro for the changing mat!
The curtains being pulled down was my first thought as well. The things you never think of until becoming a parent 😅
Such déjà vu. I am 53. Been married 27yrs and have 4 children. 24,21,20,16. Three girls and a boy. We went through all of this. Good luck you beautiful people!!i wish I had UA-cam back then
It’s so beautiful! The only thing I’d do is move the cot away from the window and centre it on that wall with the gorgeous rainbows 🌈 for warmth and also safety away from the curtains. How exciting it brought back all the memories of lovingly creating my children’s nurseries 💗
It is going to be beautiful. Lucky girl! ❤️ We just found out we are having a baby girl too! We had so much fun telling our older kids. Super excited we caught their reactions on camera!

Such a beautiful and heart warming episode. My husband and I can't have children and while some of your pregnancy videos have been hard to watch, it has been such a privilege to watch your journey unfold. There are so many things we won't get to experience so I have loved being able to experience those things through your eyes. I always look forward to watching your vlogs and wish you all the best. You will be wonderful parents.

Get your hospital bag filled asap so its done, babies rarely come on their due date and you don't want to get caught out if she decides to come early! Xxx

My mum delivered me one day late. 😅
I 100% agree! I was a whole MONTH early 😂 safe to say it was a bit of a shock for my parents!❤️
My first was two weeks late, and even then I was induced. You just never know.....kinda like the next 18 years 😂, completely unpredictable.

I'm finally allowed to see my baby Niece for the first time tomorrow since March(as they've lifted some restrictions in Syd) and i'm so excited I'm teary writing this, so I can only imagine how you feel not being able to see your family... but both of your positive attitudes is refreshing to watch, have loved watching you guys set up your new home! In 1972 our daughter was born and we bought a very cute toy box for her. Her daughter was born in 2011. So her toy box came out of storage and was quickly refurbished. Her baby is now nine and her second child is four. She gladly took over the toy chest. Many times over the years my husband thought I was crazy. But all of them are very glad I saved it all these years. Good luck to your new family, may God bless and keep you all safe. 😊

Heads up on the diapers: the line is yellow while they're dry, blue when they're soiled. We used that brand when my son was small!

160 nappies will probably last you a month. Even it's a dry nappy, it's best to change a fresh one after 4 hours.
Jess, your mum should start a brand “handmade by meemaw” coz those knitted pieces are absolutely stunning! SO cute and they look so well-made! Make sure you keep them, those are really special 💛💛💛

This is such a cute vlog, my daughter is going to lose her mind when she sees it! She’s 6, and we discovered you guys when we were preparing for a trip to Hoi An last July. Hazel has now watched all of your vlogs many times over, and barely a day goes by when ‘Jess and Steve’ don’t feature in her conversation, even at school! ☺️ Just at dinner tonight (we’re in NZ) she told us we needed to visit the salt mine in Romania so we could go on the Ferris wheel 😆 We know what you like to eat, that we need to go to Turkey for burnt icecream, and that you’ve been to Gallipoli (recent ANZAC discussion). No doubt she’s going to be making over her room for her babies after seeing this, and asking me to get out all her baby clothes 😂 This morning after telling me about you pink toaster incident she told me “it’s ok if you want to have a baby too mama” 😂🥰😳 All the best for your little girl arriving safely, and thanks for making such great content that is safe enough for her to watch and has shown our little traveller even more of the world. 😘

Diana Potra so far it’s been a solid 11-month long binge 😂 she doesn’t really enjoy ‘regular’ kid shows, so divides her watching time between rewatching a series of mini docos made by our local zoo and Jess & Steve. She quite the J&S expert, and counts them among her besties 🥰🥰
Flying The Nest I loved it for years, and it fits her perfectly 😍 Every now and then, if she really likes somebody she introduces herself as Hazelnut 🥰🥰🥰
We have a Hazel too. :) She's just turned 6 and has been to 50+ countries already. It's a great name for a little travel babe!

My daughter is also pregnant and due May 13. Because of Covid-19 we haven't been able to spend the kind of time together I thought we would in getting ready for the baby. It's our first grand baby on both mom and dad's side so you can imagine the excitement! Watching your videos has helped make up for not being able to help her get things ready. So many memories brought back from when I had my first baby. You guys are doing it right and we learn along the way when baby is born. It honestly is the best and most exciting time of your life! Sometimes scary but most times so frigging loving and the best memories you will ever have. The love you have for your own child is not like any other love in the world. It's the best, enjoy it and take your time and don't freak out about posting it all to y tube, as once baby is born its going to be like another life xx
