For trick #3, The Spring Onion trick can also be used for some of the foraging items in the Mines, such as the Red and Purple Mushrooms. I managed to get around 12 Gold Star purple mushrooms in one mine run.
Works on animals to at least in my case when my inventory is full and I had milked a cow or goat and it resorts to place it as a gold milk if u had one already with a full inventory
Word of warning for the spawning items into the game cheat: when you hear this, the first thing you might think about getting is the Stardrop. DON'T. If you have an item - specifically a tool - equipped when you speak to someone, it vanishes from your inventory. If it is one of the tools you start the game with, you'll get it back, but swords and fishing rods will need to be replaced. Also, your tools will be returned to you, but in their original state (as in, how you received it at the beginning of the game). ALSO also, there's a chance if you try to ship the stardrop or otherwise take it out of your inventory, you may end up eating a tool. This happened to my mom on more than one occasion. We play the XBox One version, so I'm not sure if this is the case for other versions.
Last year I accidentally discovered a glitch witch I call the "geode glitch", so you will be needing 1 geode of any kind, then go to clint's shop and process geodes, after that all you need to do is move the geode to an empty slot, but before you move your geode, you have to be quick enough to tap on clint's andvil as you moved you geode, then suddenly clint will SMASH! a geode, but the geode you grabbed earlier will be on the slot you transfered the geode in. This works on mobile but I'm not sure on other consoles tough

I decided to start a new game to give it a good test for my PS4. It works amazingly well. Every time someone says my farmer's name I get a prismatic shard and an iridium bar. 😄😄😄. When my cat's name is said I get a prismatic shard and a dino egg! By day 7 I had well over 600,000 gold. The Gus glitch where he will continue to say your name over and over, got me buckets of shards and bars! Thank you for sharing these!
For anyone wondering if the naming animals trick works on mobile, I just tried it and it works!! (I had a full inventory the first time and that didn't help but second time I got it) and I am now so excited to finish the Community Center xP Edit: If you need two of an item and can't name your second chicken the same name, just list the item code twice. [702] the first time will get you a chub and [702][702] as your second chicken will get you another chub.
They fixed almost all of these in a recent 1.4 patch, eg unlimited time, unlimited energy, multiple bouquets (and I think the map borders exploit was fixed a while ago). Does anyone have a list of the ones that still work?

Map escape still works. I never attempted the bathhouse infinite health/ energy, so I can't tell if I'm doing it wrong or if it doesn't work anymore. Using map escape, I got into the spa area not in my bathing suit, and I can eat food items and use tools, but the post won't place.
Realized I should check patch notes to see if any of these were directly addressed and noted. So far, I've found: "Spring Onions quality is now determined at the start of the day." So that no longer works, though it sounds like if you leave them and try to gather the next day, it may recalculate any spring onions left from the previous day
Annnd the following: Fixed various exploits, including… opening the journal while fishing paused time but still caught fish; opening the journal while dying skipped the death event and prevented losing items; you could use an incorrect item in some cases (like using a wallpaper to obtain the Galaxy Sword, incubate a dinosaur egg, or when crafting); you could predict the mushroom level pattern in the mines; you couldn’t be damaged while the eat confirmation prompt was up in multiplayer; right-clicking a fishing rod attachment in the inventory reset its durability; using glitches to leave the spa while in swimming mode would result in infinite energy/health regen; you could obtain up to 109 statues of perfection by storing each one in a cabin’s inventory chest; items of different qualities could be combined into one stack when buying from Pierre; you could sell items to Pierre’s at an upgraded price (e.g. Salmonberries with the Bear’s Knowledge perk) and buy them back at their normal price. He now resells them at the same price he paid. So... oh well. At least I got a good head start on funds via fishing pause in the ocean with my current file.

Yeah, they're Leah's house textures. There was a lookout space programmed there once, but Eric didn't finish it, it's cut. So to make better use of that space, he just made a little texture deposit or something... idk im not a game developer
A side effect of using the journal to stay awake is the ability to harvest multiple times from some things. For example, bee hives and mushroom tree tappers, if ready to harvest when you start doing it will replace their products every ten game minutes allowing for ridiculous amounts of money in no time at all. Also be warned that putting stuff into furnaces and kegs while on borrowed time can bug them out and have them never complete, losing whatever you put in them.
I got into winter of year two and I needed a truffle. That was all I needed to complete the community center. Thank you so much for the fifth cheat! Now I don't have to skip all winter to get a truffle!
Multiplayer hacc: If your playing the game with another person and there’s a placed item you want to duplicate (such as a Chrystalarium, barrel, sprinklers, scare crow, crab pots, or whatever else is placed on the ground) have you and the other player pick up the item at the same time. This will cause both of you to pick up the item or it will give two of the item to one person. Just count down from three together.
Yeah you can also complete like at least half of the community center with just wallpapers, just bring one of every wallpaper and keep trying to add them to bundles.

I found an exploit regarding the mines and the skull cavern, if your inventory is full when opening the treasure chest on any treasure room then closing the chest will not only drop the item on the ground it will also duplicate it.
Thanks so much for these tricks! I used the item spawn to get ancient seed. You think after two years of trying to find it you’d have found it by now. And the beat part was that it was a Blue chicken I named the item number. Very very cool.
I know I’m a little late, but there’s a trick you forgot about! The pure lime looking wallpaper has the same item ID as a prismatic shard, so you can turn the lime wallpaper into the galaxy sword at the pillars in calico desert!
I did the one where you name your self an item code (legendary fish and ancient seeds Hehe... ) Then I went to the bar on a Friday night and talked to lewis. He says your name and repeats your name all night long. I spammed him and got 200 fish and seeds out of him and time barely passed. I only stopped cause my thumb got tired. LOL Every Friday night!!
One trick is if your in multiplayer and you set something down that can be broken and you and your friend hit it at the same time you get two of that item
The spawn item name trick on works up to 3-4 times on the switch. Also you have to be careful as the game can crash if the game doesn’t recognise an item Id number. I just spawn prism gems and the hero fish by buying chickens from Marnie. Finally the game only recognises 3-4 item numbers/animals in one day and will come up with a pop up box “name not recognised”
I've never gotten the spa one to work on PS4 but I didn't realize you had to break the map for it so I'll give it a try! Also someone said you actually have to click on the journal not hit the hot key for that to work on PS4 so I'll try that as well!
All of these work on PS4!!! For the journal trick you actually have to "click" it not use the pad hot key. And fishing is... interesting. You have to hit X and square in quick succession but it does work!
Dude... Linus feeds himself and can teach the player recipes for survival. He's very independent. He just doesn't live in town like everyone else because they treat him like just a bum, he's more than that. He has more skills than several of the townspeople. Wtf.
Also. You can use a light green wallpaper from the Catalogue (or store if you're lucky) in place of the Prismatic Shard for both the Galaxy Sword AND Child Sacrifice (found that out by accident with the kiddo) Tested on PS4.
So this video is like number 5 or 6 of yours that I watched and I couldn't figure out if I really hated your voice and dry humor or loved it... I just subbed =)
The first one can also be achieved by going into the indoor-spa, then warping somewhere outside using the CJB Cheats mod. From there, you'll be swimming slowly in the ground. Then you can warp back to the spa, and go into the changerooms. From here, go through as if you were going to swim, then go back out right away: you should get the same result.
About the item ids, you can put the name you actually want for yourself after the ids, and the town will call you that without the numbers, and you still get the items. (I’ve only tried this on the latest switch version, but I assume it works on pc too.)
Glad I found this before I started the game. I used trick #5 and named myself the numbers for legend fish, treasure chest and iridium sprinkler. It's worth $11,000 every time someone says my name, and I don't have to spend my mornings watering crops. I know I'm late to the party, but thanks for sharing
I'm surprised he didn't mention the glitch were you can use wallpaper #75 instead of prismatic shard to get the galaxy sword. Though, at this point it doesn't matter. 1.4 patches nearly all of these expect the item name exploit. Unfortunately Nintendo specifically had CA remove the item number name exploit from the switch version, so if you're playing 1.4 on the switch you're really SOL.
I can confirm that it no longer works. In fact, the off-map maneuver may not work too. Currently on 1.3.36 as at 28th July 2019. Next big update announced too. Not sure what exploits are they going to fix.
When I tried the item cheat myself after being smart and checking the list in the description, I grinned when the animation for collecting a special item played and right after my guy freaked out from (originally) the awful farm and robin proceeded to ask about why I found the farm awful. Btw, you should add in a stardrop in the names as well as item codes in your favorite things, as your favorite thing is mentioned when you eat a stardrop.
I also kept playing and eventually decided to farm the bartender, and I thanked him by giving him a stardrop. I proceeded to laugh when I gave him a stardrop for him helping me get rich and he called it "absolute junk". I gave him one as the stardrops can stack, and you automatically eat ONE instead of all of them. I also found out that you can sell the stardrops for 7777 G each, and 7 is a lucky number.
It’s something to do with Nintendo’s ToS.... i started playing the switch version but moved on to iOS and PC (not in that order) and iOS is awesome since its portable and the mods are so much fun to mess around with on PC; if those versions are available to you I’d recommend those over the switch
Tried the spawn item trick on ps4 but it crashes the game every time someones about to say your name but I got the off map and bath house trick working!
@dangerouslyfunny. If your unsure about Gus i have found the exploit more useful if you give Emily a rock, fiber or wood she will "ALWAYS" say your name. (I have already tested this on my yt and my twitch. I had [645][434] in my name, they are iridium sprinker and a stardrop. Emily also hates the iridium sprinkler so all you need is 1 rock, fiber or wood to keep the ball rolling. Though be careful using this. As on my yt I spoke to Caroline on the first day and lost my axe so I had to spawn another one. In addition, do not chest stardrops as they will automatically activate when you take them out. It will only act as one and automatically eat it.
Do all spouses give you stardrops? As in if I marry a somebody, use them for their items and then divorce them, would I be able to get another stardrop with a new spouse?
number three is probably because the game determines the quality of the crops you have grown because of what you can add to the soil (i.e. fertilizer) which determines how good the quality or the chance for it to have better quality, so when it grows the quality is determined, spring onions however, do not have special soil things which determine the thing, so its just basically luck, like how fish is determined when you catch em (and how far it is, but I think it takes that into account anyways) spring onions are also determined when you try to pick em up, since every time is a random quality, if it can't put it into your inventory it does chance, and you're free to do the chance again and again until you get the quality which allows it to be put into your inventory. Note this is a mini-theory, I did not run tests or check files this is just what I think happens.
DF, I tried the fishing trick (You cast your fishing rod, open your journal, wait for a fish to bite and close your journal, than catch the fish) and it doesn't work on PS4. cause if you try to open your journal when fishing you have to stop fishing to open your journal. 😢 so far that's the only thing that I know doesn't work on PS4. 🙂🙂 (but I also tried it in the 1.5 update, so It might of been patched) sorry about the long comment. 🙂🙂
Here's another trick. I call it the Ghost Horse Trick. You can ride through any fence on your horse if you just face downwards, look back at the fence and run at it. These fences MUST be vertical. I use this trick to get in and out of my U shape enclosure containing my animals with the horse.
Instead of naming something an item number you could just use the chest exploit. Have one of whatever item you want in the chest and a full inventory of anything else. Then pick up the item you want and hit organize a bunch of times with the item on your cursor. You can’t pick them up right away so you’ll need to empty out a spot or two (or get a friend to help works best in my opinion) it might stack weird but you can in turn sell those things for a ton of money. The item might not show up on the list at night but you’ll wake up to a ton of money

Playing the switch version and i randomly in my first year got a bunch of ancient seeds and three dinosaur eggs. Eggs were from random worms.

A side effect of using the journal to stay awake is the ability to harvest multiple times from some things. For example, bee hives and mushroom tree tappers, if ready to harvest when you start doing it will replace their products every ten game minutes allowing for ridiculous amounts of money in no time at all. Also be warned that putting stuff into furnaces and kegs while on borrowed time can bug them out and have them never complete, losing whatever you put in them.
I got into winter of year two and I needed a truffle. That was all I needed to complete the community center.

Multiplayer hacc: If your playing the game with another person and there’s a placed item you want to duplicate (such as a Chrystalarium, barrel, sprinklers, scare crow, crab pots, or whatever else is placed on the ground) have you and the other player pick up the item at the same time. This will cause both of you to pick up the item or it will give two of the item to one person. Just count down from three together.
You can also do this on furnaces. Great for duplicating iridium bars early on.

I found an exploit regarding the mines and the skull cavern, if your inventory is full when opening the treasure chest on any treasure room then closing the chest will not only drop the item on the ground it will also duplicate it.

One trick is if your in multiplayer and you set something down that can be broken and you and your friend hit it at the same time you get two of that item
The spawn item name trick on works up to 3-4 times on the switch. Also you have to be careful as the game can crash if the game doesn’t recognise an item Id number. I just spawn prism gems and the hero fish by buying chickens from Marnie. Finally the game only recognises 3-4 item numbers/animals in one day and will come up with a pop up box “name not recognised”
I once tried to get a milkshake and it said "???" but my game didnt crash...

I've never gotten the spa one to work on PS4 but I didn't realize you had to break the map for it so I'll give it a try! Also someone said you actually have to click on the journal not hit the hot key for that to work on PS4 so I'll try that as well!

All of these work on PS4!!! For the journal trick you actually have to "click" it not use the pad hot key. And fishing is... interesting. You have to hit X and square in quick succession but it does work!

The first one can also be achieved by going into the indoor-spa, then warping somewhere outside using the CJB Cheats mod. From there, you'll be swimming slowly in the ground. Then you can warp back to the spa, and go into the changerooms. From here, go through as if you were going to swim, then go back out right away: you should get the same result.
About the item ids, you can put the name you actually want for yourself after the ids, and the town will call you that without the numbers, and you still get the items. (I’ve only tried this on the latest switch version, but I assume it works on pc too.)

I'm surprised he didn't mention the glitch were you can use wallpaper #75 instead of prismatic shard to get the galaxy sword.
Though, at this point it doesn't matter. 1.4 patches nearly all of these expect the item name exploit. Unfortunately Nintendo specifically had CA remove the item number name exploit from the switch version, so if you're playing 1.4 on the switch you're really SOL.

#4 no longer works past 2am on PC, at least for the last couple times I played. Did they patch it in the last update?
I can confirm that it no longer works. In fact, the off-map maneuver may not work too. Currently on 1.3.36 as at 28th July 2019. Next big update announced too. Not sure what exploits are they going to fix.

When I tried the item cheat myself after being smart and checking the list in the description, I grinned when the animation for collecting a special item played and right after my guy freaked out from (originally) the awful farm and robin proceeded to ask about why I found the farm awful. Btw, you should add in a stardrop in the names as well as item codes in your favorite things, as your favorite thing is mentioned when you eat a stardrop.
I also kept playing and eventually decided to farm the bartender, and I thanked him by giving him a stardrop. I proceeded to laugh when I gave him a stardrop for him helping me get rich and he called it "absolute junk". I gave him one as the stardrops can stack, and you automatically eat ONE instead of all of them. I also found out that you can sell the stardrops for 7777 G each, and 7 is a lucky number.

It’s something to do with Nintendo’s ToS.... i started playing the switch version but moved on to iOS and PC (not in that order) and iOS is awesome since its portable and the mods are so much fun to mess around with on PC; if those versions are available to you I’d recommend those over the switch

@dangerouslyfunny. If your unsure about Gus i have found the exploit more useful if you give Emily a rock, fiber or wood she will "ALWAYS" say your name. (I have already tested this on my yt and my twitch.
I had [645][434] in my name, they are iridium sprinker and a stardrop. Emily also hates the iridium sprinkler so all you need is 1 rock, fiber or wood to keep the ball rolling. Though be careful using this. As on my yt I spoke to Caroline on the first day and lost my axe so I had to spawn another one.
In addition, do not chest stardrops as they will automatically activate when you take them out. It will only act as one and automatically eat it.
Do all spouses give you stardrops? As in if I marry a somebody, use them for their items and then divorce them, would I be able to get another stardrop with a new spouse?

The item spawn glitch does work for PS4, however it crashes your game when trying to use 3 item ID’s at once, specifically through the animal method.
number three is probably because the game determines the quality of the crops you have grown because of what you can add to the soil (i.e. fertilizer) which determines how good the quality or the chance for it to have better quality, so when it grows the quality is determined, spring onions however, do not have special soil things which determine the thing, so its just basically luck, like how fish is determined when you catch em (and how far it is, but I think it takes that into account anyways) spring onions are also determined when you try to pick em up, since every time is a random quality, if it can't put it into your inventory it does chance, and you're free to do the chance again and again until you get the quality which allows it to be put into your inventory. Note this is a mini-theory, I did not run tests or check files this is just what I think happens.

DF, I tried the fishing trick (You cast your fishing rod, open your journal, wait for a fish to bite and close your journal, than catch the fish) and it doesn't work on PS4. cause if you try to open your journal when fishing you have to stop fishing to open your journal. 😢 so far that's the only thing that I know doesn't work on PS4. 🙂🙂 (but I also tried it in the 1.5 update, so It might of been patched) sorry about the long comment. 🙂🙂

Here's another trick. I call it the Ghost Horse Trick.
You can ride through any fence on your horse if you just face downwards, look back at the fence and run at it. These fences MUST be vertical. I use this trick to get in and out of my U shape enclosure containing my animals with the horse.
Instead of naming something an item number you could just use the chest exploit. Have one of whatever item you want in the chest and a full inventory of anything else. Then pick up the item you want and hit organize a bunch of times with the item on your cursor. You can’t pick them up right away so you’ll need to empty out a spot or two (or get a friend to help works best in my opinion) it might stack weird but you can in turn sell those things for a ton of money. The item might not show up on the list at night but you’ll wake up to a ton of money
