This reminds me of my many departures from Stansted with Ryanair, this airport is very similar! I love watching travel vlogs because it gives me that "getting away from the UK" vibe!
Im an 18 year old who will be flying from manchester with ryanair shortly. ive never travelled alone before so its pretty nerve-racking. But your travel videos with ryanair has helped me calm those nerves and I feel more prepared. these videos are great!
It's the joy in people's faces when traveling knowing I feel the same when I go somewhere, I'd give anything to get away from the UK more often, tempted to fly out on new year's day somewhere

Nothing beats jetting off to the sun in the Winter
I was out there 2 weeks ago, my friend was out there a week ago, and my parents have been out there this week, and they fly back tomorrow. We all love Tenerife, and we absolutely miss it!

My understanding is each airport is different with security purposely so none are alike, apparently it helps that anyone trying to sneak anything past dont know which system will be in place.
Should all have same policy
We come back to Liverpool the end of November was delayed 8 hours with RyanAir they did send us €4 each lol nightmare to say the least!
Thats what they all do, not good!

For me, it's that Buzz I still get when going into the Airport Terminal, even now after 40 years of travelling. The 'Meal deals' What a pain, they didn't seem to have any, so bought Sprite and not very nice sandwich which cost more. These Travel 'Vlog' videos are great for the airport experience. Fast Track for me this year was great, not long in security at all. I flew out of Newcastle International Airport. I think I prefer Leeds Bradford Airport more though.

I think travel day vlogs are popular because some viewers cannot afford to travel abroad. By watching these kind of vlogs they can live vicariously through the vlogger's travels.
Liverpool and Gatwick airport are the most strictest when it comes to liquids in the UK, but when I was in Venice Italy and my bag went straight through security and I didn't take anything out at all, I'm excited to see what video you do next, I love your vlogs I really do from one scouser to another Skyla.

@@TheKnightStrider it should be all the same but I'm happy there changing the rules soon as by 2024 you can have up to two litres of liquid's in hand luggage so that's going to work out for the better I hope, Anyway I hope that you both are having a great day and your videos are helping me wrap some Christmas presents and make me laugh lots and lots so thank you for that from one scouser to another Skyla.
When we travelled to Tenerife last time we didn't have to take our shoes off, people were saying to me why did you take your shoes off, but when we went 5 years ago everyone had to take their shoes off, i had slip ons and they scanned them 5 times!!! they had 4 conveyer belts and scanners in the end i hadn't a clue where my shoes were grrr, i was stood shouting anyone seen my shoes hahahah never wore them to travel in again lol 😂 🤣😂 It was Bristol Airport.

I think the reason I love travel vlogs is that the memories and feelings come floods back to me to when I’m at a airport going away that happy holiday mode you get i, like nostalgia and like when you guys bring back candles from America trips and the smells remind you, that’s what a travel does for me plus it’s also some form of escapism too I guess

Our local KFC once didn’t have any chicken! 😂 Fries & popcorn chicken only 🙄 And on our return flight from Vegas to Heathrow, the Starbucks closed at 7pm & our flight was at 10pm! 😳😳

Thanks Andrew and as always very informative. On the subject of hand luggage and plastic bags, I once had a half full tube of 125 ml tooth paste confiscated at LGW! I had never had such an issue before, but was not prepared to argue.

Who doesn't love a good travel day vlog and you guys never disappoint,gotta say I'd have taken that burger king back looking at it before you started eating it especially how expensive they are,shame on the delay but atleast you didn't have anyone in the middle seat,the security at Liverpool didn't sound like very nice or professional staff and if as you say various airports do things differently how are people supposed to know but there are ways of speaking to people aren't there,🙂👍

I’m back again re watching video dreaming I was out of the freezing cold British weather
But me and my partner was over in October for my birthday (first holiday without my parents we are 21😂)
I carried round my passport all week I had worst fear someone would steal my passport was that wise or not? And taxis how can you tell legit ones from the fakes we had the worst experience on way home the driver was scary and holding up his front window the whole time I need pointers for next time I know that if it’s going to happen to you then u can’t stop it, but I’d like to try avoid it being a possibility 😂😂
What size and weight is the hand .luggage you take on the plane as they look quite large and heavy!

Airlines have picked up on leaving the middle seat free. I found out with Jet 2 recently and they charge you extra £5 per person per flight. I have taken the matter up with them as that is extortion especially when you have paid for the seats. Basically they just paid lip service. Very poor of them to do this.
