Great video Alain. We where in 2008 on this very comfortabel ferry on her former route Hook of Holland - Harwich, as STENA Britannica. She was just extended to 240 meter length.

My gd it's DEPRESSING whats happened to ferries now. look at this big massive ship, designed and built in the 80's back when you'd have full capacity or close to it quite alot of the times per year, every night itd be like an actual bar and disco atmosphere, during the day the place would be buzzing the duty free would be full, you'd have people walking around all over the place, restaurants with dozens of people eating, live entertainment all day from 11am, singers, bands, comediens etc. Now you literally have a full car deck full of trucks, all of the drivers snooing in their cabins, and a few stranger milling about thinking this ship is beautiful and huge. but empty as fooooook. i don't know how they stay in business? look how few people there is??? They've adjusted for it now, you no longer see ferries like this one, huge big boxy things to acommodate thousands of passengers, you even see an outdoor bar on the roof thats probably never once been used. Now you have the REALLY long ferries, with an extra double height deck that goes outside for more freight, and less people. thus why there's no box shapes ones anymore. look at the estrid as a perfect example. or the Ulysses

Just Ferries ich komme aus Griechenland darf ich Dich was fragen? Also ich fahre nächste Woche von Kos nach Athen... Darf man in Deutschland eigentlich an Deck Rauchen? Im Mittelmeer ist das erlaubt. Natürlich darf man die Kippe nicht von Bord werfen. Da gibt es Ascher an den Wänden.
Hallo, mir ist in Deutschland kein generelles Rauchverbot an Deck bekannt. Das regeln die Reedereien für sich. Oft gibt es Raucherbereiche, z. B. bei Stena.
