- Another video from my trip to Majorca in April 2022. Didn't expect to get near the 1 hour time after recently having Covid, particularly with my FTP at only 3 watts per kilo and a bodyweight of 95 Kg.
Commentary and time comparisons along the climb:
01:56 - First Fornalutx turning
03:37 - Second Fornalutx turning
05:07 - Mirador Barques
06:17 - Stone arch
07:17 - Torrent Des Raco hairpin
09:03 - Final hairpin

Well done 👍 We did this in March, good to see it again.
Thanks😃I'm hoping to go back again later this year.
Amazing video. Very well made
Thanks 🙂
Well done for shaving off so much from the previous PR, 20% reduction is awesome! And it got properly nail biting right at the end there, I could feel it through the video you were smelling the end and gunning it. Well done. I'm heading back to Mallorca this year and aiming to better all my past PRs the big one being Puig Major
Thanks - glad you enjoyed the video. Best of luck with your Majorca trip!
Great job on the effort, quite high avg HR and you didn’t seem to much out of breath at the end. So quite confident you could come down to 55, if you want.
Thanks for the encouragement 😃
Nice work - both on the bike and your video. I'm 188 cm 95 kg and hope to climb Puig Major this year (last year was my first time up Sa Calobra). Cheers
Glad you liked the video 👍and good luck with your effort up Puig this year. I'm hoping to go back for another attempt soon 😀
well done fella ,im in portsmouth
Thanks - might have another go at it next year. 🙂
im sry but calling yourself overweight with 190cm and 95kg is just kinda clickbait...
Not intentional clickbait - but I take the point. Thanks for the feedback.
Thanks for the video and encouragement. I am also 6'3" but weigh around 100 kg, so definitely heavier rider than you. Can hardly climb more than a few miles at a steeper gradient, but hopefully with time, clean eating and consistent riding I shoukd improve the PTW ratios and drop fee pounds in the process. You are NOT overweight, sir, just built strong as a sprinter.
Nice one bruv. Reckon you'll beat 55 mins next time 👍
Below 100kg is not exactly overweight. Try being plus 115kg then use the title of overweight. Nice climb though either way.
Thanks for the feedback. I hear ya - I was 122Kg when I started cycling 7 years ago. Still 'felt' too heavy at 92Kg though. Hoping I've trimmed a little since riding Col de la Madone at the start of this month - weigh-in in a couple of weeks will tell - hoping for principally body fat reduction 😄🤞
