Susan, Thanks for the "month too early instead of a day late". Brought tears to my eyes as my last one to let go of, Kata, did not want to go early, but I knew she would suffer if I waited till she needed to go. I think she would have stayed for me through anything.
Thank you Susan for your honesty, compassion and insightfulness as well as your dog training knowledge. I can think of some humans who would benefit from your wisdom, never mind their dogs!
Your answers to the questions posed are very inciteful and kind. Thank you for making such wonderful training available to so many. We all are grateful.
Great podcast, as always. My question would be, do you ever post the agility trials you plan to participate in? If I'm within traveling distance, I'd love to attend, or at least follow online. And now that we are in the holiday season, big hugs and thanks to you and your team for another year of learning, community, and fun. You all do such a terrific job and your online communities are filled with amazing people and dogs. Happy Holidays! 🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪
I love all your paintings or photos or pictures of your dogs. Would you be kind enough to let me know who does those? I would love my little boy to have his photo picture painting done also
I will have to fly my dogs to Europe next year and looked into the gunner crates. Unfortunately my Giant Schnauzer is too large for the largest size they offer. Do you have an alternative you can recommend for flying?
On the topic of Zoomies; I have an Whippet puppy who's instinct is to do the zoomies. I have noticed with my boy that it's when he suddenly gets over-excited, actually he LOVES to do all the tunnels when he gets the zoomers hehe. I found that exercising him an hour before training class helps him zoom less.
I use frozen marrow bones from the butcher. Be sure the thickness is hard enough to not chip and the hole is either too small for them to get their bottom jaw through or large enough that if they do get it around their bottom jaw it will easily come off. So important to not cook them. My Dobes like the shorter ones, like 1 - 2 inches long. My step daughter's dogs prefer the larger longer ones like 4-5 inches long. My dogs' goals are to get the marrow out and then they're done. I do save some, which I can stuff later on. Be sure the dogs are safe. If multiple dogs, might want to separate in different rooms so no fighting. And if kids, might want to crate the dog so no chance of potential accidents since it is such a high value treat. Double check with your vet as some vets don't want puppies to have bones. Hope that helps.

Have you ever done a podcast where you explain how to get dogs to work with puzzle toys especially those that are not food driven?
Thank you!😃

Not sure if you’ve answered this anywhere, are you going to bring back Recallers or Homeschool your dog?

What kind of bones do you give to your dogs ? 😊

Many local grocery stores the meat department is more than willing to accommodate too.
First viewer to comment! Hello from Brazil 😂
Hi Sofia! And thanks for leaving us a comment! 🐾
Do you have an episode on how to get your puppy to like and actually want to get in the car?
Hi @longbodies, yes! Here's where you can watch - ua-cam.com/video/XXkPmR5am5U/v-deo.html
