I have to hand it to the South African team. They were slick and threatening through out the encounter and made the match an exciting watch. They were really the bogey team in this tournament and could hold their own against anyone. I'm relieved Nigeria won, but the South African players can be proud. Such an incredible team!

You should be grateful that Yusuf didn't have any more time to cause havoc to the Nigerian team. He should never be in that team again! And yes, it was a penalty. Smart forwards do that alot. They jump in front of a player in the penalty area when they are trying to clear the ball knowing that such player will likely kick them rather than the ball which is what happened. If Yufuf was alert and not lazy, he could have pulled away trying to clear it when he felt the South African player coming in from behind!

That south african penalty that led to the cancellation of osimhens goal was very unfortunate and harsh on the Nigerian defender.The south african player was very smart and intelligent to come from behind and stuck his leg forward to have contact with the Nigerian defender who was about to make a harmless clearance.That decision was harsh and it turned what would have been a straight forward victory for the eagles into a nightmare.But the resillience and never say die spirit of Nigerians won the battle for them.

How I wish our African leaders will make us happy and united just as football does, believe me Africa will be the best place to be in the world. Congrats to my Naija and the rest of Africa, whoever wins the trophy it's still in Africa and Africa is ours. But one point no one mentioned here is the rapid improvement of Ivory Cost couple with the power of home advantage they are going to enjoy.
