Those of you that are still having problems printing, you need to make sure if you are using the second process of connecting your printer to the WPS router... when you go to print, make sure that the device you are printing off of is on your primary Wi-Fi and not on your guest network… when the printer connects via the WPS button on your router, it will connect to the main internet... so if you have a main and a guest network, you cannot be on the guest network when you go to print because it will not find the printer on that network. I hope that helps.
You got a manual?? The most I got was a sheet that highlighted how to dispose of the printer!😂. I'm not giving up yet, tho. Back to trying to connect...

It's the worst printer ever. I got so frustrated, I slammed it down and broke it in a million pieces. I don't normally break things like that, but this printer constantly malfunctioned. I got tired of it. It's a cheap printer and you get what you pay for.
You keep parroting the same line but the fact remains this is a junkiy printer and extremely hard to set up. Do you really need the black print + wifi button step? I didn't need it (TS3551). Only thing I needed to do is press the wifi button for a long time, then press wps on the router...if it doesn't work, unplug and try again
The canon documentation sends you off a bridge... I finally got it to work with method 2, the WPS button. Way easier. If you have that button on your router/modem, do yourself a favor and use that method.

Glad everyone else seems to think this video is great, because it hasn't been so clear to me. In method 2, we are told to press the wifi button until the power light starts blinking on and off. Then we are to press the black print button and then the wifi button, and the wifi light will quickly blink.......What wifi light? My printer doesn't have a wifi light. It has the power light. And it has the stuff blinking on the menu screen. No wifi light.

Don't worry about the lights, just after you hit and hold the wireless button then the power light will start flashing, push the black button and the Wi-Fi button then go hit your WPS button on your router and it will do the rest… It was full proof and took a mere two minutes for it to connect with my printer and it's working perfect. Now one thing to keep note, if you have a primary Wi-Fi and a guest network, make sure that you were on the primary Wi-Fi when you go to print because that's what it's going to link up to.
Thanks again for the video! I don`t know why but I can only print pictures, but when I try to print out a recipe even though my printer is on my cell and WIFI is connected, the printer rejects the document, augh!!!!!

That app does not exist any more apparently. It's been replaced with something that just says Canon PRINT.. They don't even include the proprietary USB cable needed for a direct connection to your computer. I'm taking this pile of garbage back to where I purchased it, and I'm getting my money back. The Wi-Fi password is your serial number, found on the back of the printer. But if you just hit the wireless button, and then hit the WPS button on your router it will automatically connect to your network and you don't have to put in a password. At least you shouldn't have to. So follow the set up number two version of what he explains, it literally took me not even two minutes and it was set up.

DId not work for me. Be aware, don't buy a wireless Canon printer except if you are a Apple /Iphone user. As for a lot of thing, Canon and Apple are working together to make Canon a sort of Apple device only. Unfriendly to Windows and Android. I dont know what to do. The fucking setup software it says to use in the package isn't working. I get an error message when doing the WPS connection... this is a piece of shit. It just gives me an E3 error

DId not work for me. Be aware, don't buy a wireless Canon printer except if you are a Apple /Iphone user. As for a lot of thing, Canon and Apple are working together to make Canon a sort of Apple device only. Unfriendly to Windows and Android.
I had HP for years, Epson, no problem, but I recently moved a bought a Canon TS3500. A real pin in the a...and such a waste of time, energy.

Worst printer ever… it won’t even let me swap over to new router… I broke all the buttons display. Never again I will purchase this price of crappp. I’m going back to original black and white wired printers. Also these ink cartridges are scams.

This printer is absolute garbage. Worst thing I have ever wasted my money on. Has not even worked three x. Utter garbage. Designed to fail imho. Have wasted hours and hours trying to get it to work. Disabled or I would have taken it back to Walmart. Not even worth price of taxi to & from Walmart to return it.
