Zoning refers to the yo-yo moving to different "zones" in the body. This combo has zoning because it moves behind the player's non-throwhand to achieve many of the elements in the combo. Other examples of zoning would be behind the back, under the leg, around the arms, around the neck, etc... Generally speaking, the more obscure the zone, the better.
