I've been watching and listening to Aye for some years now. She revisited this song at age 13. By then she got most of the bugs out of her playing, and became much more confident and freer with her playing. She began writing her own songs at this time, mostly as a display of her technical abilities as well as her ability to score and play some really great music. Derick Sherinian of Dream Theater took an interest in her playing and collaborated on a few songs and performances. She's won a few national guitar awards (Indonesia) and picked up a few endorsement gigs. Her playing today is exceptional. Technically brilliant, emotive and stylistically her own.
If there's a guitarist that I really would've liked to see doing this, it's Tina S. Sadly she stopped releasing new material in 2017. According to people to study. She came back a year ago with neck tattoos etc. So there were some specualtions. Still... she did a great version on Beethovens Moonlight sonata, which made me wonder how Cannon Rock would sound.
I've done two Tina S reactions so far and another one is hopefully scheduled for later this month, if you're interested. Tina is superb and technically pretty flawless.
Nice, and thanks for reaction, Sir! Ayu did a better version when she was 13 years old. And if you want to hear Canon Rock best version ever, you can check Ray Brikden version. He's another amazing Indonesian guitarist. Best regard, from Indonesia. ❤🇮🇩
Thanks for watching and the kind words 😊 I was told she had done a better version, but I definitely wanted to witness her at the start, as will make any future videos I see even more impressive. And thank you for the rec 👍
Hey, man! You should watch Miumiu Guitar girl playing this at 8 years old. One of the cleanest versions I have heard so far, of course, besides the great Jerry C.
Yes, there were still a few small errors. But like we said, this is the cute version (you're right, it's impossible not to smile along). She also played the cover live at that age, but the audio quality is not good. She recorded the perfect version with better equipment at the age of 13. If you'd rather play a different song next, we recommend "Blitzkrieg By Yngwie Malmsteen (Cover Ayu Gusfanz)". In addition to her covers, she has also made her own songs such as "Fight No More" and "Global Warming".
I might try and watch her revised version three years later - to see how she has improved. But lets not forget she had only been playing for 3 years at this point - and it was still impressive!
@@melvinthinks Do you really not know Alip Ba Ta? Or are you trolling? (naughty!) Alip Ba Ta is not a kid. He is superb. He plays acoustic guitar. His arrangements are part of his charm. He performs very simply; one unedited, continuous shot (unlike some who have so many cuts, we've no evidence they're actually able to play songs start to finish). Last time I looked, I read he was a forklift truck driver. If you do *not* know Alip Ba Ta, I'll feed you cucumbers to react. Maybe try one of his arrangements to decide if he'd 'fit' your channel? He doesn't sing. It's all guitar. _Kiss From a Rose - SEAL (fingerstyle cover)_ ua-cam.com/video/2-QzRRFpAEg/v-deo.html 4m:33s This isn't one of his most popular, but I like it. Merry Christmas. 🎅 ☮

Is that Maria Callas I see behind you? If so I love that. This kid is good for her age but I dislike the sound of her setup. Frankly, I have never liked metal speed demons, I find that style of music boring as hell. Playing tens of notes per second gets boring very quickly. Without a good melody, thousands of notes/second is crap. Just my opinion. Tina S can not only play fantastic, her sound and melodius playing is far above this type of music.
Maria Callas? Nah mate. It's Amy Winehouse 😁 I assume you aren't referring to the Planet Terror film poster 😆 Anyway, the kid is 10yrs old in this video. Think you are being are being a bit harsh on her 😘 She has done another version of this when she is 13 years old which am yet to hear, but I will do at some point to see her progress and improvement. She clearly ain't Tina S in this video, but you gotta give her kudos for having the balls to try it.
Wow.. Yeah, its amazing AyuG guitars ,Tq for ureaction🌟👍👋🌻🌴
No problem. Thanks for watching Eddy 😊

Just goes to show that hard work and dedication, does pay off! 😁👍🤘

@@melvinthinks Yes, she is really impressive. We said she can keep up with Tina S for a reason.
By all means please try "cannon rock" by Alip Bata. You will never regret. ( Also Indonesian)
Cool - thanks! 👍
Please cek alip ba ta sir
Another Indonesian guitar prodigy? 😊🤘👍

Unfortunately not! 😁 There is so much out there I (and we) haven't heard. Which means there's a never ending list of reactions to do!
