amazing. lots of numbers and equations are involved in this pieace.
i spoke to the project manager of this project. this took ALOT of work, its really not as easy as u may think. there wasnt a program who can do this, they had to use a brand new program. i personally love this. its a new form of art from engineering. surprising that the string holding each sphere is actually GREEN fishing string... yep, green...

Uma das peças mais impressionantes do recém inaugurado museu da BMW em Munique é esta escultura cinética do vídeo. A instalação "mecatrônica" é composta por 714 bolas de metal presas por finas cordas, quase invisíveis, que traduzem em formas tridimensionais alguns dos designs clássicos da marca alemã.

No its not computer controlled. After the opening of the olympic games in Beijing, BMW hired 800 chinese synchroto puppeteers which are all pulling the strings of these balls from the upper level. Its magnificient!
