Sorry to see this, Same thing happened to me. I went with an SP63 Stage 1 Long block and the install was extremely easy. Best of luck and enjoy the process.
Sucks man. So far the only major issue I've had with my '16 ST3 is both of the lines going to the heater core started leaking and dumping coolant. I'm at about 127,000 miles right now and knock on wood it's been such a solid car with bolt-ons. Wanting big turbo next.
I had the same happen to my '16, pretty straightforward fix. my '16 has 180k miles and just had the AC clutch coil die. Another easy fix fortunately and other than that its been rock solid too. VERY pleased with it.
Oh my. Sorry to hear. Looking around at some of the parts sites I've found complete motors with 20-40k miles but they want north of $4k for them. Good luck with the repairs...
@@Nickjoenap .64 is for the faster spool but when your pushing around 380-400 to the wheel you can easily blow it up if your not careful nor take extreme care of the motor
Hey buddy, What fuel were you running? I’m posting from Newcastle Australia 🇦🇺 Tuners over here will tune with BP98 or with compensating mods E85 Don’t know what octane fuel you have over there in Oklahoma , but the focus hate low octane fuel ….. Hence why they do pistons & rings , don’t be surprised if the engine has blown head gasket also But higher octane fuel is a must
Makes me worried, I got 125k on mine however its pretty stock engine wise with stock tune. I autox it and had been very reliable, knock on wood. Keep us updated!
I have a little bit of oil coming out of my symposer delete but car runs perfect, any thoughts on what that could be? Or is that just what happens over time?
It’s just blow by which will passes through the intake manifold a lot. That’s why we get such bad valves so quickly on these cars. It’ll be okay, I would just check the o ring and and make sure those screws are set well
You can do the t51 and external on a g25 though. Also claytons kit is about 4-500 more expensive than if you just put it together yourself. I have a scooter elbow with a pulsar g25-660 that I put together for under 2k with atp lines and the downpipe adapter, etc. Also car-part for the motor. Please don't get a bws.
Cracked head? Apparently it’s relatively common. Didn’t know it was an issue when I bought my high mileage ST (at 145k now) otherwise I would’ve never bought it.
That sucks to hear man your vids are a main reason I got a focus st
I really hope you can get it running again 👍🏻

Tuned. There you go. They always blow.
Hey man, sucks to hear 😢 mine blew back in November so I feel your pain!
Bummer, sry to hear but hope you get a new motor for it. Good luck and thx for sharing.
For me the head blew n i just got a new head , back to life
Condolences on the 💥 been following ya for years
Damn dude that sucks, hope you can get it fixed.
Rip. I'm on my 3rd engine & praying I never have to get another.
LKQ is where most get a motor replacement.

Pmax > BWS. I’ve heard theres alot of issues with the BWS because of how hot it runs
How many miles on the car?
100,500
When you go big turbo get a .86 AR that’s why I have and still on same engine knock on wood 103k miles it’s less strain on the motor
yeah isn’t it better for slower spool with top end where it can atleast withstand the power ?
I’d go .64 if 2867 for faster spool for autox

I didn’t know that I might do that then
Do you have a way I can contact you and ask more about what all you needed to do this? May go this route
I would also love to know more about this as that's the setup I want but don't wanna pay $2600 for the turbo alone.

SAME thing happened to mine . I had the same car and watched all your videos. I got a rod knocking. Send it off a cliff dude.
this is why I sold mine last year, these things are not built to last... even with proper maintenance ;-;
that’s wild i did a full sidewinder kit on mine and abuse it every weekend lol 55k miles 90% track and i have had 0 issues
