Dear, We have considered Normal force acting on 100kg block as "R", and it is acting perpendicular to the surface having coefficient of friction as 0.15. For 160kg we have not considered Normal force since there is no contact of block with any surface of wedge. Hope I have cleared your doubt.
Dear, This is the standard relation between tension in ropes when friction in pulley is considered. However, if friction in pulley is ignored i.e coefficient of friction is zero.
