Whispering While Discussing Some Australian Music CDs - Australian Accent

- This is my eighteenth #whispering video. In this video I'm looking at five Australian music CDs from the 1980s and 1990s, which are some of my favourite CDs. I talk about each CD, remove the insert and read (or try to remember) some of the lyrics to a few of my favourite songs. The bands are Hunters and Collectors, The Cruel Sea, Paul Kelly, silverchair and The Divinyls. This is an #asmr video, so the purpose is for relaxation. Brought to you by #HisAustralianVoice Channel. @His Australian Voice
You have no idea how much I appreciate you. So much has been changing in my life, but your videos are always what I go to to find comfort and stress relief. Thank you forever and always❤
You're welcome! I'm glad my videos help you.
Perfect timing sir! Appreciate you! Have a awesome weekend
Thanks!
Oh yeah this one hit the spot 👍
👍
The man is a legend
thanks!
One time I was listening to tomorrow by silverchair on the aux in my car, and when I was getting out in a parking lot, I heard the same song playing from another car near me. Not much of a story but I thought it was so neat that it wasn’t on the radio and two people nearby were listening to it. Had no clue those guys were Australian!
That is an interesting coincidence! Especially as you're not in Australia...
Great video, love the collection themed ones 👌
Thanks 😀
Nice video Steve nice CDS and loved the whisper 😊
Thanks 👍
Great video same as always 👌 thank you Steve ♥️
My pleasure!
Listend to silverchair on repeat for an entire summer when I was in Jr high. Frogstomp is such an amazing album.
Agree!
Great as always! I'm from Pittsburgh, and our most well known "pub-rock" band is The Clarks. Their most well known songs are probably Penny On The Floor and Cigarette.
I haven't heard of The Clarks, I'll have to look them up!
Thank you🌟
You’re welcome 😊
I always felt Silverchair and Alice in Chains were influenced by one another. Tomorrow is like a sped up Rooster track with hits of Nutshell. Or, at least that’s what I’d argue back in the 90’s.
Silverchair started when Alice in Chains were pretty much done creatively circa 1994
MATE DO MORE OF THESE!!!
Okay, will do!
Yes! Going straight to the playlist! Also, a clue in the first CD. Looks like St. Kilda is in Melbourne, so that's the Melbourne footy team, right?
I am a music major and perfect pitch is when someone can identify a note merely by hearing it. This is a talent that is acquired through a mix of musical talent and training. Your born with the gift of music and depending on how much time you spend with music you can develop perfect pitch. Despite what people think, no one is born with perfect pitch because pitch was created by humans. We’re born with the gift for hearing tones that sound good together and from there we learn notes and develop the talent.
That's interesting, thanks for sharing!
You’re*^ oops
You familiar with the Aussie band King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard
No, sorry.
@2'09 You're right, it IS the year "1988", but the font is too bold and makes it unreadable!
Thanks for letting me know.
Great video! Wondering if you like any English bands? I love Oasis and The Rolling Stones
Thanks! Yes, I'll try to do an English band CD video in the future (not sure when).
no Mars Needs Guitars by the Hoodoo Gurus 😢
No sorry, but it is a good album. Every time I eat a Mars bar, I say to myself "Mars Needs Guitars"!!
Ever Heard of The Housemartins?
No, I haven't. I'll have to check them out.
