Don’t have a 1st press to compare it to, but the VMP sounds damn fine to my ears. VMP has certainly had issues in the past when it comes to cover reproduction (see Blossom Dearie) but over all, am happy with this one.

Tbh, I only watch shoot out videos when it's an album I am in the market for. If I have a good copy of something and I'm happy, I don't want to know that there's a copy that is incrementally better. There's too much music out there for me to get caught up in replacing ones I own. That said, I really enjoyed this one, thanks for the thorough review.
