Really nice, man! :D There's an Eachine fpv receiver specific for smartphones, do you know it? It connects with a smartphone using an USB OTG cable. Maybe you can make something similar. ;)

I have one question, which is related to those OSD receivers, but in a different way, so maybe guy with technical knowledge could help me to figure out...
I had ROTG01 and I was using it`s external pins to power it up, and use video out to my analog LCD.
But when I bought ROTG02, which is like the same just with diversity, this option works strangely:
I need to plug my phone before I get signal out to those analog ports, phone acts as a "on" switch, later I can remove phone and use it as stand alone receiver powering it through analog ports and receiving video signal.
My question is maybe there is solution to make that receiver start working with powering from external ports, without android otg phone as a stand alone receiver?

cut the cover for that bay so it hasn´t be on it....and add some switch so you can turn on and off that VCC to step up

i think that the reason why you couldnt get it working at first was because you didnt take ground from the usb too, but i could be mistaken
FPV Kubbur I tested voltage it drops to 1.2 V without the step up I added :)
there is one thing that may be interfering with it, try bridging the d+ and d- with a 220 ohm resistor
