Very good shoe on feet, every time i put them on i was expecting my feet to get used to the good comfort and every time I was happy to see they were really still comfortable.

Runner Approved
To see if the shoe could help reduce injury compared to our motion control shoe, we commissioned a study through the British Columbia Sports Medicine Research Foundation where runners followed a 12-week variable training program ending in a half marathon. Based on the results, we think we’re on the right track: In testing*, the Nike React Infinity Run showed a 52 percent lower injury rate compared to the Nike Structure 22, our leading motion control shoe.
*The Nike React Infinity Run reduced running injuries by 52% compared to the Nike Air Zoom Structure 22 in a study of 226 men and women during a 12 week run training program (injury = missing 3 or more consecutive runs due to running related pain). Our study found that 30.3% of Nike Air Zoom Structure 22 runners experienced an injury but only 14.5% of Nike React Infinity Run runners experienced an injury.

I just got this pair, you are 100% right about the collar digging into your ankles, I always swear by ankle socks so it's become a real big problem for me wearing it around
Love your reviews. It trips me out when you review running shoes as daily walking shoes. Sometimes I feel like they don’t get their justice they deserve. Like the zoomfly flyknit. I know you didn’t like them at all and walking around maybe but it’s a completely different shoe when you run in them. I’ve had multiple PR’s running in them. As far as style goes and you saying it’s a con.... it’s a running shoe....
For what it's worth, I'm liking your new format. No bullshit, fast paced, true-from-experience reviews. The cologne metaphor is why we buy a lot of shoes and do rotations ☺ I keep on checking your channel for these insights 👍
Very comfy shoe. I love the design of it. Very futuristic. More cushion, rocker design of the sole, stability plate and the Flyknit loft are all cool new features.
The reason they minimise injury is because they're more plush, shoe shape and stability bar. They are meant to lock down your foot within the shoe, promote natural motion and provide cushion. They're elements that all shoes need to minimise injury.
Performance wise these are a huge upgrade than the Epic reacts. For actual performance, the epic reacts were not a shoe that you’d want to run in with some of the better shoes that Nike offers but these are a great shoe for performance running. From a casual wear perspective all Nike react shoes are going to be similar but performance wise they vary a lot so pay attention to what purpose you are buying them for when watching reviews
Wdym? Epic reacts were great cushioned/daily trainers and I didn't see anyone saying they weren't made for running. You're not going to be racing in any current React shoe anyway so stuff like lockdown doesn't matter as much.

@@yeah8709 The Epic was basically Nike's only high cushioning shoe until the Infinity came out and worked really well for that. IMO the Flyknit upper is better on the Epic, and it's a better daily trainer than the Infinity.

Good review! I have two pair. For running slow-- decent, and cushioned. Maybe a little clunky. For walking, very comfortable and again superb cushioning. It's short of being a perfect shoe. The initial sensation of comfort and having substantial durable shoe on your foot come with some costs. Need a shoe horn to get it on. Weight is an issue. Materials give a constant sensation of heat all around the foot. Will be interesting how this evolves as this is the first shoe I've worn that has achieved good midfoot to toe cushioning for both walking and running.
The shoe is a buy but a little short yet of perfection.

Always get the feeling when seeing the epic react that Nike brought this shoe on the market with one sole purpose: To kill the Ultra Boost hype. Just flooding the market with a bit similar, cheaper but not as good looking or bouncy shoes as the adidas ones.

21 of us at the gym and decent for only 3 of us. Serious heel slipping for all but 3 of us. They are for big feet or bigger guys so to speak. I’m 6’1 195lb high arch.
not lying about the upper digging into your heel, i dont have this model but i have the react 1 and 2. these look similar in the heal are so i would imagine it would be the same, they need to add some type of cushion in the rear

12 hour shift.. and after wearing these shoes for at least 7 hours it kept digging into the back of my heels.. it was horrible.. I had to wear my old Pegasus 36 shoes with a torn large toe hole.. until I replaced these.. but man o man yes it has a nice bounce..

Do you guys feel that the mid foot is really narrow? It makes it quite uncomfortable for me. I love Epic Reacts, I wanted to buy this shoes, but when I tried it, I found the mid foot to be very narrow. Tried to go half size up, then the fore foot become too wide, just overall not very suitable for me this shoes.

Hey Hes! A would you recommend these over the Epic React Flyknit 2?
Hes has recommended the epic reacts many times over these, mainly because the Epics are significantly discounted now and the infinity is still pretty much retail, so if you want a pair wait until they're more discounted. But the Epic aren't that must worse than this, and are actually the better buy if you get then for 60ish bucks.

I disagree on the aesthetic but I also prefer a cleaner looking show without all the flashy-ness of some of the more styled shoes. I just got my pair on a Dicks Sportinggoods flash sale for $130 I the black/white color way and think they look great on and off feat. I have only tried them on in my home and haven’t worn them out yet because the thing I’m just unsure of is that heal cup. Just like you said, it’s rough af and it feels like it’s gonna rub the back of my ankle raw with a no-show sock. I’ll probably keep them tho.

It's a successor to the epic in a sense but it's a completely new model. More react, rocker-style shape and stability plate.

Epic reacts are discontinued now, I think the closer replacement is the new React Miler which will be coming out next month.
Debating between these or the CruzrOne’s, which is worth the money for the comfort? (Especially with a large wide foot)

Compared to boost?
For me these didn’t feel as comfortable as the previous generation models.
Ankle collar cut both achilles so had to pull my no-show socks higher so the collar wasn’t touching skin.
Same issue. I bought ankle socks with a tab to cover the Achilles. Problem solved. They’re perfect for my slow, steady runs.

@6:14 Have you looked into designing your own colorway for these shoes? I also don't like the standard colorways, so I designed my own. Downside is $20 more expensive, and it takes 2-3 weeks to receive your shoes; upside is I really like the way they look and feel.
