LGBTQ+ Short Film | DON'T SPEAK

When two people just can't find the words to say, the worst thing you can do is Don't Speak.
Something different for my channel. I wrote this for a module at uni so it is a student short film. But the rest of the crew and the other actor are too talented to not share this with the world.

Choosing real life-sized actors, with real human struggles, instead of young, attractive Asian models, expressing silly ways to apply make-up, and increase your abs, is wonderful, meaningful, and rewarding in validating the rest of us just to be yourself and find real emotions

I think as an up and coming writer (or at-least I hope) my mission is to tell good stories, but also to represent normal people, I think queer media is lacking non buff people. As a fat gay man, I never see myself on screen, we’re always comedic relief; and the gay community has such a negative view on body image and I don’t think queer media helps that.

I’m glad you enjoyed it. This has evolved from so much. This short film came from a queer tv show I wrote. Hope one day people can see that, as it’s got some great fun moments in as well as moments like this.
