Great build Don, works perfect with the AE lightgun, having so much fun thank you. I had an AA issue with Wii games easily fixed through the Nvidia menu. Its a 9.9 out of 10 (lost .1 because there is no Operation Wolf under MAME, but Police Trainer makes up for it). Thank you so much for all your effort.
@@DLWang I havent tested them all, but my error was (MSAA with 4 samples found on default framebuffer), I went to my NVIDIA control panel and changed Antialiasing to 'application controlled' and the issue went away. YMMV but all the wii games I tried worked, maybe 6 or so.
Would you consider doing a tutorial on how to set up light guns in retro bat? I have my own build that I've been working on for a long time that I would like to set up for light gun support. I mean most light guns are just designed to register as a mouse in Windows. But obviously most consoles never supported a mouse so I'm not sure how this translation happens. Some games just seem to work with the mouse on their own. Like duck hunt for example. However other ones don't and I'm not sure what settings to change. I've done quite a bit of poking around and can't seem to figure it out. Even if you could just point me in the right direction to kind of get me started I would really appreciate it.

@@RySTrvsnot very well. The controls are recognised in some games and not in others. Some games won't boot at all (Likely due to my error.) The good news is the cross-hair movement is so much quicker on PC than on the Retroshooter box.

Honestly I only had 1 working gun of each brand at the time of making this. So I was not concerned with player 2. What are the issues you are having. I will look into it.

I have just an issue with Demul Games (Naomi), I have set my wiimotes in DemulShooter folder but everytime I launch a game (tried with Ninja Assault and Manic Panic Ghosts for example) I cannot add coins and press start, controls are not responding ... Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your hard work putting this together - this build is simply amazing!!!. I'm using a Gun4IR set up and I've just downloaded and installed your RetroBat build following your (read me for real) instructions, but for some reason neither the MAME games folder or games are appearing in the front end menu (I can see all files are there). Have I missed something with the installation process to get them to appear?
@@DLWang thanks but there is no MAME box option to turn on in the game collection settings. I also notice that there is no Sega Model 3 menu or games appearing either (there may be others only 109 games show as available in the lightgun / all games menu). I was able to get these menus along with others to appear by changing the 'Game List Only' option to '1' in the Retrobat configuration settings file, but then every game not just the RetroBat light shooter games appeared and it messed up other settings, so games that would previously launch no longer will. Is there a particular file that I can modify to rectify this issue to add just the MAME and Sega 3 games relevant to the system appear? Or alternately is there a way for me to download only the Emulation station and system files that can help fix this from a different source. Thanks again for any help you can provide. - from what I've seen so far this is the by far the best light gun system out there and I'm keen to get it fully working.

One question, I installed autohotkey from the text file, do I need to have that running each time I start the build or does it start automatically once installed? @@keatsjacob6434 the ahk path is set to "v" if you want to name the drive something different. Then yes you must change the ahk. And will also have to remake all the shortcuts.

Hello. You pack is very cool but I have issues running some games... Especially Windows ones (ps3 games or others) it say that the script is not found or something like that. I installed autokey on c root like you said but don't work. Any idea please ?
yeah but does it work. so far allot of games from AP have been lame. i keep getting errors or corrupted files. AP ignores my questions so the last DLWANG image didnt work for me either
@@DLWang nope that didnt work either. i followed your instructions and again even using a different computer i keep getting the same results. none of these got damn games work. i just dont know wtf seriously WTF am i doing wrong? im following your instructions from this video and nothing seems to work. no virus nothing is on but some how aliens seems to be the one that keeps screwing up. i checked in quarantine nothing in there so its not being deleted. i tried playing games and none of them worked. i just dont understand how people are posting videos of games working yet i download the same file follow the same directions and BAM nothing seems to work.

Res can be changed in per system settings. Player 1 coin is 5 player 2 coin is 6. Can be changed in ahk file

Sinden needs its own software added. Aimtrack shoould work like any other ir gun. Just follow instructions changing the pid#

Make sure the gun you are using pid# is 8042. If not you must edit it per my instructions text file

No idea why that would happen. Buy open main menu/game collection settings. Make sure mame categorie is turned on

It will autostart. What it does is launch ahk files in windows games

They probably zipped part files. When done just extract first file. It will do the rest for you

It’s actually teknoparrotUI in that folder. Yes it took me a few minutes to work that out.
