Thank u for this vdo. I'm bengali nd i'm planning to move in portugal nd i've started to learn portuguese. I have been desperately looking for the cojugation verbs nd i found it. Thank u very much
“Although ‘vós’ is a personal pronoun in Portuguese, it is not so used anymore. Nowadays, the pronoun ‘vocês’ is used as an alternative and it is much more common in everyday life. For this reason, I decided not to include it in the video :)
@@learn.portuguese Sim, ja sei, mas ainda é usado em algumas partes do norte de Portugal e em textos religiosos. É muito importante reconhecer as terminações pelo menos.
Wait. What happened to 2nd conjugation of pluar, Vos teneis, Vos comeis, etc.? Since when does the standardized Portugal portuguese work like the Brazilian one?
It doesn't work like the Brazilian one. It wasn't included in the video as it's not commonly used anymore, except for very formal occasions or religious acts.
@@learn.portugueseI don’t think vós is not used anymore. More like it is only not used anymore as a personal pronoun. Y’all still use it as a reflexive pronoun (ex: mostra-vos) and a possessive pronoun (ex: vossas dúvidas) which to me does not make sense. At least the Brazilians are consistant in that they no longer use vós in ALL cases and not just as a personal pronoun.
