This is my current favorite song. The 500+ years widsom of Rahim combined with modern music of Vishal Bhardwaj just takes us to a mystical etheral world. Hard to put the feeling in words, except that it makes me proud as an Indian and Ganga Jamuni tehzeeb. Ram saab has sung it greatly. Specially the crescendo part is amazing. Taking nothing away from him, i can only imagine Nusrat Fateh khan saab singing this song.
