I believe what is going on in the world is checking people's hearts. How grounded are you truly in your identity.... *In Christ* ? Has your focus shifted from the Lord to another *identity* ? I've dealt with something similar before I was delivered. And believe me... I too wrestled greatly. We may be mistreated from another person's sin at times in our lives... But don't let the enemy of our soul capture your mind and cause you to walk in a spirit of victimhood ... This can paralyze your walk with Christ, and may cause you to refrain from reaching certain souls God may have wanted to use you to reach... Put on the mind of Christ 👁️ and take up your shield... For we are not fighting against flesh and blood...
Thank you for writing this. It was very timely for me as I struggled with my mind playing victim today. I must draw nearer to the Lord and trust Him in order to not let the enemy capture my mind.

I've been wrestling with self-pity and when you said the word "victimhood" it just resonated within. Like this is what I'm feeling. But this is not true. We're not slaves, we're children of GOD. And this is what the enemy does distorting who we truly are. You are right we are not wrestling with flesh and blood. This really helped me be mindful of his voice in our lives helping us discern between good and evil Christ will show us what and how we need to live and change if we let him, give him time, and listen.

Amen. I love this message. Praise God. It goes in line with truth. In order to pull weeds out, you have to water them. Water then until the souls becomes soft, and only then you can pul it out from its roots! If not any root left behind can grow again. It’s the same with our mind. I love that! My spiritual leader Russel M. Nelson called my attention to our need to take the time to hear Jesus's voice in his talk called "Hear Him" and it helped me see how if we pray Jesus will show us the weeds and the flowers. Christ will show us what and how we need to change if we let him, give him time, and listen.

U keep speaking the truth hon and no sweat over the people who are only attracted to the weeds
In June 2017 my twin sister and I gave our lives to Jesus and a few weeks later got baptised with the Holy Spirit, and early August 2017 Jesus appeared to us both separately in our sleep and spoke to us. My sister's testimony is theirs (Jesus and hers) to share. To me He spoke about everything, about my past, my present and my future, and I could actually feel Him placing the entire Kingdom of God inside of me. He told me that it's not always going to be an easy journey, but that He is with me always. He said that He will never leave me nor forsake me even to the end of the world, and that I have made it to the finish line and won the race. Jesus chose to love me and He loved to choose me. He accepted me when the world rejected me and when I too was rejecting myself. Early 2019 He appeared to me again in my bedroom at 5 am. I was woken by the Holy Spirit to Jesus standing at the side of the bed I was laying on staring down at me and then He floated around the side of my bed to the other side of my bed without breaking eye contact with me or turning His body away from facing me. He then looked down at the screen of my sister's phone and then vanished. Part of what I love about this encounter is that although all the lights were off in my house, I saw him clearly. He is light and He lit up my entire room. As Jesus was staring into me with gentle loving eyes I just knew that I'm apart of him, and that He is my completeness. There is so much more to my testimony that I am not sharing right (for) now because it's too much but I felt led to share this for someone who needs to know or be reassured that Jesus is alive, he is always with you even when you can't see him with your physical eyes. He has empowered you to practice His presence. Jesus is deeply inlove with you and He actually likes you. Your hope is not in vain, Jesus is the refuge of us who trust in him. Remember that you are already blessed and you live in His finished work, so you can take impossible things from him because He knows He can (already has). Want for His best for you more then the best that you wanted for yourself and live a life above the sun under Daddy God's grace. We love (Him, ourselves and others) because he first loved us - 1john 4:19 We overcame by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony - revelations 12:11

Weeding is actually one of my gifts and pleasures. Sorting out overgrowth my specialty. Now I'm dying to know type of plant weed, which was never said. Also, interested in more technical onfo on the worldly weed roots.
When you start feeling defensive, you most likely struggle with being offended. It’s usually reactive, not proactive and it looks to others to fix their problems instead of taking responsibility for their own actions and emotions in a situation. A lot of people seem to think this is about the racial injustices going on (and maybe it is), but I think this can apply to anyone in any area of your life. Ask the Lord to show you if you have a spirit of offense in any area of your life. I personally had a spirit of offense for a very long time in regards to people in general (I only realized this last year after struggling with it from a young age). I had specific things I was sensitive/offended by when it came to men due to my relationship with my father and specific areas of offense when it came to women due to my relationship with my mother and offenses in my friendships due to past friendships. The spirit of offense took hold in my life because I had so many injuries that I had never dealt with or allowed the Lord to heal and I never properly forgave so the enemy had a foothold in my heart and mind. I also had never learned to take responsibility for my actions or emotions. Yes, others may have treated me wrongly and I may have been a victim to what they did or said to me as a child BUT I’m an adult now who has a choice to do something healthy with those feelings and my own response or actions. Once I asked the Lord to show me this (it was very painful and I did not want to yield myself to him) I found so much more freedom. I still struggle with it but it feels liberating to not be offended by useless things or even bigger ones for that matter. The book Boundaries by cloud and Townsend helped me realize I was never taking ownership of my own life. I recommend this book to anyone! You can see how broken our society is in our interactions with others compared to the principles of how God wants us to relate.

I love that! My spiritual leader Russel M. Nelson called my attention to our need to take the time to hear Jesus's voice in his talk called "Hear Him" and it helped me see how if we pray Jesus will show us the weeds and the flowers. Christ will show us what and how we need to change if we let him, give him time, and listen.

In June 2017 my twin sister and I gave our lives to Jesus and a few weeks later got baptised with the Holy Spirit, and early August 2017 Jesus appeared to us both separately in our sleep and spoke to us. My sister's testimony is theirs (Jesus and hers) to share. To me He spoke about everything, about my past, my present and my future, and I could actually feel Him placing the entire Kingdom of God inside of me. He told me that it's not always going to be an easy journey, but that He is with me always. He said that He will never leave me nor forsake me even to the end of the world, and that I have made it to the finish line and won the race. Jesus chose to love me and He loved to choose me. He accepted me when the world rejected me and when I too was rejecting myself. Early 2019 He appeared to me again in my bedroom at 5 am. I was woken by the Holy Spirit to Jesus standing at the side of the bed I was laying on staring down at me and then He floated around the side of my bed to the other side of my bed without breaking eye contact with me or turning His body away from facing me. He then looked down at the screen of my sister's phone and then vanished. Part of what I love about this encounter is that although all the lights were off in my house, I saw him clearly. He is light and He lit up my entire room. As Jesus was staring into me with gentle loving eyes I just knew that I'm apart of him, and that He is my completeness. There is so much more to my testimony that I am not sharing right (for) now because it's too much but I felt led to share this for someone who needs to know or be reassured that Jesus is alive, he is always with you even when you can't see him with your physical eyes. He has empowered you to practice His presence. Jesus is deeply inlove with you and He actually likes you. Your hope is not in vain, Jesus is the refuge of us who trust in him. Remember that you are already blessed and you live in His finished work, so you can take impossible things from him because He knows He can (already has). Want for His best for you more then the best that you wanted for yourself and live a life above the sun under Daddy God's grace.

When you start feeling defensive, you most likely struggle with being offended. It’s usually reactive, not proactive and it looks to others to fix their problems instead of taking responsibility for their own actions and emotions in a situation. A lot of people seem to think this is about the racial injustices going on (and maybe it is), but I think this can apply to anyone in any area of your life. Ask the Lord to show you if you have a spirit of offense in any area of your life.
I personally had a spirit of offense for a very long time in regards to people in general (I only realized this last year after struggling with it from a young age). I had specific things I was sensitive/offended by when it came to men due to my relationship with my father and specific areas of offense when it came to women due to my relationship with my mother and offenses in my friendships due to past friendships. The spirit of offense took hold in my life because I had so many injuries that I had never dealt with or allowed the Lord to heal and I never properly forgave so the enemy had a foothold in my heart and mind. I also had never learned to take responsibility for my actions or emotions. Yes, others may have treated me wrongly and I may have been a victim to what they did or said to me as a child BUT I’m an adult now who has a choice to do something healthy with those feelings and my own response or actions. Once I asked the Lord to show me this (it was very painful and I did not want to yield myself to him) I found so much more freedom. I still struggle with it but it feels liberating to not be offended by useless things or even bigger ones for that matter. The book Boundaries by cloud and Townsend helped me realize I was never taking ownership of my own life. I recommend this book to anyone! You can see how broken our society is in our interactions with others compared to the principles of how God wants us to relate.
