High respect......for both off you....these panorama's I remember so well.....on the bike it is already terrible and you both decided to make a short turn at the end and like me that's no fun anymore...happy to see your sleeping place.
Beautiful hike and well relayed in the video. Considering the smaller backpacks, what did you bring? Some insulation bag (lightning bag), dry socks, foot care products and first aid, etc.? Or just a drone and cameras? The problem in these mountains is that the weather can change abruptly (depending on the side of the mountain you are on) and all of a sudden you walk in a rain cloud that is much colder than down below. Hypothermia is a real risk. Or a thundercloud drifts over and you walk between lightning strikes searching metal objects and that are still dangerous within some 30 meters around them. Planning is a real issue on these hikes. I remember a tour of about one day, in the Swiss Alps. Took us 120 km of public transport to get back to our chalet.
We didn't bring that much to be honest.. We should prepare ourselves better for hiking in the mountains, but because we live here in The Netherlands we are not really used to that haha.
Very good video, wonderful places. It would be also nice to inform about the hiking's duration and conditions. By the way, the best starting point to address the Coldai/Tissi hike is not Alleghe, but rather Palafavera, on the eastern side of Civetta. Because it's shorter and independent of any public transport .
Really enjoyed watching your Hike guys :) Great stuff , Hoping to go and do some of the Dolomites next year on my own , would you say its ok to do it Solo ?
A question please?! I looked to see if you had another Dolomite video on Seceda Ridgeline, but didn't see one, so I am wondering if you or anybody can answer this please. My daughter & I are traveling to Italy and visiting this area in mid-May, have no read most of the Dolomites is no accessible by foot or even car. My #1 question, can you still park near the cable car/gondola to be able to hike the Seceda Ridgeline (on foot only, no cable car/gondola as they are not open yet). Same with Tre Cimi di Lavaredo, can you get near these places to hike. My heart is broken as I found that May is an open time to see these, but now all are saying in May all these are inaccessible. I love all your videos by the way, keep them coming!!! Thank you!
Thank you both for taking a tour of the beautiful hills created by nature. No matter how much I praise it will be less. Thank you both for your hard work. Money is the need of life but if you did not see this heaven created by God in this birth, then what did you see? Truly this world is heaven, no one knows where a person goes after death, so this earth is heaven. Both of you are doing very well. Thanks once again.👍👍👏👏
Hey, we are glad you enjoyed the video. We generally use Alltrails maps, it a subscription based app and is pretty good. Yes, we heard from someone about the ordnance survey maps, it pretty accurate right?
They are beautifull, these Dolomites....not that touristic as the Alpes. I have been climbing all these hills on a racefiets..hihi... with friends. For several years the Campalongo, the Pordoi, the Sella ,the Gardena, the Manghenpas, and the terrible Passo negro....and lots more...and the nature is still........euh naturel.
Beautiful filming and storytelling.
Thank you 😊

Walking is also good for physical form, it increases your age. There is no need to go to the gym.
