THATS because it's in the IDW comics and while popular most people only ever seen the shows or movies But its definitely one of the cooler versions. I just recently picked up some more idw tmnt comcis with leatherkraang in it
your theory as a kid is correct! Krang can actually be a parasite using the living body of any creature as his own slave, mindcontrolling him from the inside. I recently have seen a picture of a reptilian creature (not sure if it is Leatherhead or another reptile) eating Krang alive, but then suddenly Krang just emerges from his stomach and controls the reptilian body as his own like a parasite. However in the 1987 cartoon, the authors of the cartoon couldn't actually show Krang emerging from the belly of a living human body because it was too spooky for kids, so they just built him an android body instead, still making him emerge from the stomach of the android though as a reference of his parasite "secret" ability. If you want I can put a link to the image of Krang being the parasite of a reptile who ate him, so you can see it too.
Just a quick note: whatever happens in other versions is not necessarily canon for others. So Krang being parasitic alien in IDW doesn't mean he can do it in 87 series.
I like the 80s version of Krang especially with the Android body and probably could have talked had they covered up his entrance into the stomach in my opinion that would have been awesome

Satan was also turned into a similar octopus-like creature, without hands and dependent on other demons to get around, a triad of sorts. He still barters his abundant knowledge to minions for power and wealth, seeking to control weaponry and computers, a body? in exchange ~quantum chips have enabled him.
That's because the narrator is an AI voiceover based on the OG WatchMojo lady's voice. watched that channel since 2012, and this videos ai is most likely trained on that voice. Or even comes as a,voice bundle
Man, the Kraang/Utrom are easily one of the MOST creative Alien Species in fiction
you should expose yourself to more science fiction, I think
@@GraemeGunn Cry, then
She completely skipped over leather head eating krang and him growing out of his stomach, controlling him. Like some xenomorph face hugger

Easily one of their best villains.
He’s a dalek.
I always thought, as a child, that Krang's androïd body was a real human, making him a parasite using a human as a slave.
