When this game first came out, I played it all the way through immediately. And because this song is in the game in so many different ways, it easily got stuck in my head. So, when I decided I wanted to put lyrics to some of the songs, this was easily the best first choice.

The lines about not caring that there were bronzes were inspired by two things actually. One is that Joey really doesn't know the difference, and two is that nobody higher than bronze really cares about the difference, as shown multiple times when people refer to both Xefros and Joey as "rusties", even with Joey's bronze sign. Plus, I thought it'd be funny.
As a side note, Touhou Mystic Square the Musical has not been cancelled, it's just on temporary hiatus.
