Daesung biaswrecked everyone this comeback 😅. His most sexy era . This comeback for me feels like the entire 2 gen idols and fans saying goodbye to their young years . I have seen many reaction from koreans too and I never saw so many men in their 30s, 40s cry
I think most of us has the same reaction like Yolanda. Tops face is the face. The exposure is very little but worth it. Most of the thumbnails in yt is with his face. So yeah.. Not only bb comesback to get their throne as king of kpop but also Top is back to.claim his throne as og visual of kpop. For me he is the most beautiful/handsome visual of kpop.
Top’s verse is my favorite. His was very personal and heavy. Thinking about what he went through 5 years ago breaks my heart and for him to put this into a song is just pure talent. I am amazed by this man. Also, it doesnt hurt that he is still The OG Visual of Kpop. Everyone ages but him. Im so excited for his solo this year.
I was blank while watching this MV because my emotions were overflowing. Our Kings finally back. They again proved that they produce music to express rather to impress.

I just realized something.
Thats why the song is called "Still Life".
If you look it up, Still Life is a genre in the arts. A painting or drawing of objects like flowers, etc.
Its like Bigbang wants to capture their years as Bigbang and preserve it in a painting, but in this case, in a song.
Its impossible to control time as it passes by, but you sure can preserve it.
Instead of referring to the past as "years", they instead used the 4 seasons (which makes up 1year) to describe the good and the bad they went through since they started.
Theres a lot to unpack in here actually. They showered easter eggs all over the place.
Oh btw, I do think they grew their hair on purpose, which symbolizes the time passed.
Not to mention the Bible verse, The Tale of the Moon Rabbit and the Tokyo Ghoul mask reference.

Yes, the whole song will make you cry. I watched TOP and GD's rap part several times and I'm still shook on the level of emotions they put in with such a small part. I have seen all of BB's comebacks and this one, has been the hardest so far, my emotions are everywhere 😢.
I'm like you this is my first comeback for them! T.O.P. is my ultimate of ultimate biases. He is truly one of a kind and it broke my heart listening to him. And him saying goodbye. I can hear and feel the pain in his voice. All of theirs. It's so bittersweet but beautiful
I watched a lot everyday and I always cried when I play that MV. They are is The Real KING OF KPOP and they deserved that. G-Dragon very talented person, he is born to be Superstar. No one KPop group can make a good listening very meaningful lyric like BIGBANG even the person can't speak english or also Korean I see they reaction is speachleas, amazing and crying because BIGBANG isn't group who only show they look or dancing but BIGBANG create very unforgettable song even they old song you can still enjoying and very good listening. They are Legendary King Of K-Pop 💗💗💗
I'm still crying to be honest....
When i first watched this, i remember the feeling of sadness when 2ne1 released Goodbye way back 2017 and Minzy was not in the MV. Now in Still Life, Seungri is not there. I know Bigbang will still be there, it is a good bye to their past, the hurt and trauma and a start of a new beginning. We will miss TOP too.

If you go to 1:10, you can hear backing vocals behind TOP's singing sounds like Seungri. Some VIPs are guessing it's Seungri cause it's definitely not the voice of either of the remaining members. I think it may be Seungri or it may be KUSH cause it kinda sounds like KUSH's voice too (he's the producer and writer of the song, also a close friend to BIGBANG).
It's truly bittersweet since it's been over a decade we've been through every phase of BIGBANG throughout their careers, their highest highs and their lowest lows and for those who stayed it made us feel all sorts of ways. When Still Life went live, I'm sure a lot of VIPs cried and felt sentimental and nostalgic. Their voices makes one reminisce and GD kept his promise to VIPs after Flower Road to meet again when the flowers bloom.
It's as if we're saying farewell to our past and welcoming a new chapter. But still kinda on the edge of a new BIGBANG. It's a new era for most of VIPs since we're pushing 30 or are already in the early years of a new decade. This song means a lot. Not just for BIGBANG and VIPs but 2NE1 and Blackjacks too. I miss the glorious days of BIGBANG and 2NE1. They truly pushed boundaries and paved the way. I'm so thankful they're in a happier place now. 2NE1 girls are happy (except Park Bom, anyone, please find Park Bom) and now it's great to see BIGBANG members doing well too.
