The potency stat really buffed weapons with status effect dmg and grenades now are very good at mining ,especially with splitting into 3 smaller grenades overclock.
Think that all of your runs really were the lead up to this. Getting all 3 to 18 with the new overclocks and getting that UA-camr RNG luck this time.
Not many runs go as smooth as this. This was my first attempt trying for 3 level 18 grenades too.

So OHrye its runs like this that make you so unlucky the rest of the time. I dont think I have EVER had rng that good.

Hi OHRye, I have some challenges for you. First of all the previous challenge I mentioned is the 'only paint job challenge', Take any weapons you want but you can only level the weapons using paint jobs, you can take any damage, reload, etc just no upgrades that give levels to your weapons other than paint jobs.
The next challenge. What would happen if you took the two artifacts that increase damage and armor the more health that is missing, and combined that with a very high max health. So at 10% health, you still have 120 hp for something like that.

I've been dying amost every run trying to get as many weapon upgrades and survivability as possible. The builds seem a little hard to make happen. Very unlucky rolls. Eventually you are over run.

Just an idea, have you done a build focused on gold tipped bullets? I could see it being interesting trying to get the strongest build while hoarding all(most of) your gold for damage multiplier. Rng dependent, gold scanners are probably the only must haves for the run
Ya, I’d love to this…but builds like this are hard to record for honestly. I’d need to get gold tip bullets right away and gold scanner as my first 2 artifacts, otherwise I’d need to keep restarting.
I could just integrate it into a build though if they happen to show up first for whatever else I’m doing.
@@OHRyePlays Yep I figured as much. I figured getting gold scanners first was better so you can stack gold earlier but then you certainly have to pray that gold tipped shows up later. Just did a run of my own where I got no scanners but got gold tipped on first stage. Ended up farming 600 gold without spending any in shops or rerolls. I’m guessing with scanners you may could farm 1k which unfortunately is still only a 200% buff
This build would probably also do very well on Magma Core, if you can trigger the grenade dump by stepping onto the lava patches.
If you haven’t seen it, I did a similar build on magma core…but only with one grenade.

@@OHRyePlays Ah, I missed that one, but I tried it myself whilst completing the level 4 (incendiary grenade to 25) challenge with grenades as other weapons and it was fun.
They added a huuli hoarder? need to check out the new patch.
They did! They show up about once per run. They usually drop pretty good stuff.
Getting one or two of the nades mining walls would be fun, especially with some gold or nitra scanners.

@@OHRyePlays rolling HE grenade and Cryo mining grenade is very specific. it is only really good on salt pit to be honest.

I think I did one before, but it might have been on stream…I’ll revisit it.
@@OHRyePlays maybe its different with the patch? I think you may have done it before but with this new patch i feel like everything is kinda different. The axe build is also very entertaining to watch because it requires skill to make it a monster weapon...like positioning, ai manipulation, etc.
