    Found your channel looking for people actually using their side by sides realistically instead of how a magazine or company portrays it. Love the honesty in how a vehicle performs, love watching the group dynamic of you guys, reminds me of atv riding with my dad's buddies, and love the trails and the problem solving. Crazy how similar Greg's trails look to the ones we have in southern Illinois. I had too many kids at too low a salary so scratching that razor itch may never happen but your videos get me as close to the trails as possible and that's appreciated. Keep on keeping on

      Hey Giles. I really appreciate you leaving such a thoughtful comment. I'm happy to hear the videos can help you get your fix and I wish you the best so maybe one day you can get that RZR once the kids get a little older. As for the team dynamics, we are lucky to have a great group of friends to ride with and some good trails to enjoy. At the end of the day, the best part of these rides is the good times and friendship's we develop. It's about community and sharing a passion for motorsports and the outdoors. Can't think of a better way to spend our free time. It's an expensive hobby but overall I feel it's well worth it. I'm glad you appreciate the "real world" reviews. I'm really enjoying your break down from your experiences being a Content Creator. Something I would like to add is this...as a new creator don't compare your beginning to another channel's peak...Topic is the biggest thing for a successful video. Being genuine and real goes along way. Good content and keep improving with each video.
    My channel, Adventures This Way focuses on the experience of extreme off-trail ATV riding. I do cover some maintenance and repairs but I'm slowly transitioning into more vlog style ride videos AND ATV and ATV related product reviews...It is a grid but totally worth it. It's definitely important to understand the size of the audience you will be making videos for. If your content does not appeal to a large percentage of the general population (pets, health & beauty, etc), there will be a limit to how large you can grow your channel. You cover this well. What's the biggest side by side channel? SXSBlog? They don't even have 300k subs. That's not bad, but not really a "big fish" in the UA-cam world. To grow a big channel these days, you have to to something nobody else is doing, or do it a lot better than the competition. With all the competition on the platform these days, that's increasingly hard. Without a lot of engagement, motivation to keep making videos may decline. It can be fun to make videos for your own enjoyment, or to share with a few friends and family, but if your audience is sub 50, you're probably not going to want to grind too hard at making videos.

    • @AdrenalineJunkieProd
      @AdrenalineJunkieProd  2 роки тому +2

      Ya, #SXSBlog has done amazing for themselves. Those guys are killing the game but also creating content much different then mine. I would say that the godfather is #Ostacruiser hands down. He owns the niche in my books. He sets the bar. I will always look up to him and what he has accomplished. Just a solid likeable guy that has built a massive international following on his pure passion for what he does. I've been watching him since like 2007 and he has managed to stay relevant and current the whole time, yet still true to what he started out doing. In a niche like ours where a channel with 100,000 subs or more is considered huge if you play your cards right and foster the proper relationships then you have the potential to do very well. A realistic goal is to subsidize your hobby. My channel has allowed me to subsidize my passion of photography, videography and offroading. It helps me build badass machines and create badass content I wouldn't have been able to achieve without it and without all the amazing viewers.

    Number one: I’ve always liked being on camera, so I figured I might as well film the stuff that I do
    Number two: it’s a viable long term business. Get paid to do what I love sounds awesome to me

    • @AdrenalineJunkieProd
      @AdrenalineJunkieProd  2 роки тому +2

      Hey man! Glad you checked out the video. It looks like you posted a video on the same topic as me on the same day at almost the exact same time, lol. As I mentioned in my video, to me this channel was not conceived with any form of business in mind. My goal was always to build a community and provide entertaining content I would enjoy watching and in turn enjoy creating. The business aspects and revenue generating aspects of this channel evolved naturally out of a necessity to fund the project. Looking at this project long term I have still invested much more capital then I have ever generated. All the revenue I generate goes directly back into content creation. Improving camera gear, editing equipment and production value. Maybe one day this channel will make a transition into a revenue generating project but I feel it will be a long time before it could generate the type of revenue required to sustain my lifestyle as a whole. I also don't want to sell out in the sense that I lose track of why I started this project to begin with. I believe in organic, natural and sustainable growth. Good old fashioned hard work and determination leads to success. I'm still waiting for the call from Netflix or Amazon Prime, lol. I wish you luck with the business end of things, just remember, the true values of projects like these are often more complex then just money. With that being said, of course I would love to make a good income as UA-camr and just create content full time. We all have that dream, it's just very hard to get there and still stay true to yourself. Hopefully I can keep building strong relationships with individuals and brands in the industry that will one day lead to me achieving that dream.
