The thing is, in trading, fast is slow and slow is fast. People mainly continue to either skip steps or risk too much per trade which in hindsight does more damage psychologically. Yeah you might have risked 10% of your account and made 200% in a month but when probability kicks in, those gains will be gone plus more in some cases. There’s no harm in taking your time, enjoy the journey, struggles and small wins
I’ve only been trading for 7 months. I became profitable within 4 months thn I switched over to prop firm. I just recently locked in 20% growth on a 100k account in 1 month with a 90/10 profit split. I dedicated all of the energy and resources to trading that I could spare so it is possible to become successful immediately if you make calculated decisions. It’s really up to you how fast and far you go. The reason most ppl get into trading is because you can grow quicker than in a traditional business. And the reason most ppl aren’t successful is because the give up too soon. Don’t box yourself in, do what you say you are gonna do, by any means regardless of how many “losses” you take. Also, how did you frame your time - I’m only looking at live price, S+R Wychoff, so I’m waiting for some days at a time and it’s super stressful. @@bigrodbrowny9184 I’m a scalper and I use supply and demand with a bit of s&r and trend lines for extra confluence. There’s no short answer for how I got where I am in the timeframe. There’s also no way to not sound like every talking head guru on yt with a short answer. But the truth is I really did lean heavy into psychology and trying to understand what sort of things impact my decision making. Once I minimized all distractions and narrowed down my strategy to one specific style of trading (I only trade 1 instrument and I look for the same setup everyday) it’s much easier to pinpoint the scenarios that mess with your psychology. Also Risk management is the number one thing that messes with psychology so focus on knowing exactly how much you are risking with every trade, I guarantee you’ll become profitable.

Appreciate traders like you that don’t sugarcoat trading. This isn’t made for people who are looking for over night success, this is for people who prioritize longevity over all else. You must get to the point as a trader where the profit you can potentially make is an afterthought.

I’m a risk taker. I will risk 4.5% on the first trade to make 8%. If I lose I’ll slowly get back to BE risking .25% then when I get back to BE… back with the heavy risk. I work for me. I know it sounds too risky but o well. When I go live i decrease my risk to .25% all trades
I do the same exact thing, I use 1-2lots on my 25k. Last 97 trades I have a 77% win rate. Sometimes videos like this will put a trader down, I make 3k every 14 trading days
@@Warrior93x yeah I feel like when you learn your setup/strategy and stick with it after 2-4 years of doing it you start to grow a market discernment to catch your high Probability setup.
Had my first $100 week on my live account, I did 70% risking 10% per trade so I’m cool with it Just have to increase my capital and go for challenges with some profits then let time do the heavy lifting inshallah 💎

try to use becktester after that go to demo account then live acc with prop trading not many make money casuse the industry is built so you will lose money i mean think about it who gives you 100k with 90% profit split? trading is hard as it is and with these rules you have 0.1% chanse of making money
take it from a guy who's been trading 9 month. i have passed accounts and gotten multiple prop firm payouts. i can not make money long term. ive tested hundreds of strategies on fx replay and not a single one made money long term. it sucks
9 months is nothing man. Get more experience and stopping hopping strategies - develop one strategy and stick to it. No strategy is profitable immediatly.
