On the Parkside PMSG 200 A1 I replaced all the internal aluminum power cables with 25 mm2 copper and added a choke. I also made a high quality 25 mm2 ground cable with a 200A clamp: ua-cam.com/video/nFfTCAcksoY/v-deo.html I'm still going to add a manual, infinitely variable 0 - 100% fan speed control to the welder.
(3-5 Sek.)
Daft question .. if your just welding steel can you use argoshield ? and no special rods just standard welding rods for steel and stainless ? Just I have an old industrial mig and just thought for small tin sheet repairs and fabrication always fancied a dabble with a cheap tig
I have not done tig for a few years but when I did I often made boxes tightly fabbed by sloping the joint to be welded and just fused the outside with the torch with a piece of mig wire at the ready just in case of a small dab being required. The boss was too tight to buy decent rods.
@@bonerDB it is not, I've seen multiple reviews of this welder made by professionals and they are all impressed with it, of course it is intended for home/hobby but it is a great machine considering the low price
@@bonerDB No that is fals, with Scratch-Tig you only need to touch the workpiece and the arc will be initiated directly, with Lift-Tig the welder is "smart" and will wait for the circuit to close and only when the circuit is broken again will the arc start.
Well………is it any good? Good for the money, looked fine to me👍👍

@joyflbill Was meinen Sie damit: "Reißen Sie den Brenner ab und bringen Sie ihn wieder näher"

Where did u bought the torch ?
Is it made in China? I think Kempi and ESAB are better! Regards from en welder since 1978!
Think you might find a slight difference in price to a kemppi!
What isn't made in China?
где купить ?
Kako kupiti
Can you weld aluminum with Tig?
Yes but not this welder; you need an ac function for Alu.
You can weld aluminium with this machine using aluminium wire and argon gas.
I can't, and I spent hours trying....steel, easy!
👍
With the WIG funktion yes, with the TIG funktion sadly no.
Get a much better controllable weld pool with a sharp pointed electrode (thoriated ) scratch starts just knacker end of electrode.
Good job

Wat torch set up are u useing
Universal 150 Amps tig torch
@@user-vr8xv5jz7r thanks I have the parkside multy welder so might go with the gas set up thanks for the advice

200 A without burner water cooling?!
What type of Gas using in Tig welding?
Argon
Its such a shame that they didn't implement lift-start on it, I'm 100% sure that thing has enough brains for it, they just didn't do it...
lol you can lift with this machine ;)
Me apasiona la soldadura.
Thank you for sharing , I think I won't regret this welder ✌️✌️✌️
Tig lift 🤣
Yes you will. This is piece of shit bro

😀👍
I wouldn’t buy scratch tig in 2021 period
If you can weld Stainless steel then you can certainly weld carbon steel but hasn’t it got HF
Everything is made in china it's all down to quality control
Buying in china and cry because close factories.
That seem to be a lift tig welder (not HF) or am I wrong ?
No it is Scratch tig welding
@@user-vr8xv5jz7r its the same.

@@jonx945 This is something in between (at least on my piece), I touch the workpiece, nothing happens and in 1/4 of a sec full current is started.
